The Billionaire Twins Need A New Mommy! novel Chapter 553

Chapter 553: was there any fire capable of burning down hell?

Meanwhile, in the port where Billionaire had caused trouble earlier...

Men arrived at the port to check on their people and see if Billionaire had already left. But what they found was neither confusion nor answers.

The scene they stepped into was... bloody.

Bodies were scattered all across the entry point, and blood was everywhere—so much so that the waters around the area had turned faintly red.

It was a slaughter.

That was what the place screamed.

The man leading the group—who had received the order directly from the fine middle-aged gentleman he called Commander—darkened at the sight. His gaze was fixed on one of his subordinates, who was kneeling beside a body, checking for a pulse.

When the man looked back and shook his head, a sharp glint flickered in the captain’s eyes.

"Leave them," he ordered grimly. "Set sail to Billionaire’s turf. If you see anyone, kill them on the spot. Keep Billionaire alive."

"Yes, Captain!"

With that, the men quickly boarded their boats and moved on to the next phase of their operation. Only a few—including the captain—stayed behind. As the others departed, the captain’s eyes swept over the bodies sprawled across the port.

"I should’ve killed that motherfucker when I had the chance," he muttered, thinking that the governor’s leniency had finally backfired.

Billionaire might have been a useful middleman, but he was also unreliable. Too cocky. Too reckless. Too vengeful.

The captain moved around the area, surveying the scene for clues. But aside from the corpses, there was only one thing left behind.

The message the slaughter itself delivered.

Quietly, the captain pulled a small device from his pocket and connected it to his phone.

"Commander," he called grimly. Somehow, the commander already seemed to know what news was coming. "Billionaire’s gone from the port. Our men are already on their way to his turf."

"And why are you calling me if the job isn’t done yet?"

"He’s not alone."

The commander smirked at the other end of the line. "Isn’t that obvious by now?"

The captain glanced around at the carnage. "They massacred everyone in the port, leaving it wide open."

Though it didn’t look like anyone had entered yet — considering they’d come from the same direction — this still left the area dangerously exposed. Little did they know, they had already missed too many details, and they wouldn’t have time to realize the first signs of what awaited them, which they ignored.

"I’ve already sent reinforcements to the entrance," the commander said calmly. "Wait for them there and—"

BANG! BANG! BANG!

His voice cut off as gunfire erupted on the other end of the line. The commander arched a brow, staring at his phone. A second later, he heard it hit the ground with a dull tak.

Back at the port, gunshots echoed through the open space. Everyone still standing—including the so-called captain — was riddled with bullets. None of them had time to react. They were dead before the first volley finished.

As the echoes faded and the wind carried the smell of gunpowder, several figures approached from the direction the men had originally come from.

The commander listened to the steady footsteps over the line, waiting. He raised a hand to the driver beside him, signaling for the vehicle to pull over.

Slowly, the corners of his mouth curved into a smirk. He didn’t hang up.

And he was right not to.
