Alessa walked out of the office and met Madam Olga at the entrance. Alessa bowed at her and hurriedly wiped her tears.

“You did the right thing,” she said and Alessa sniffed as she nodded.

“You should go get some rest. Your third trial is tomorrow.”

“Thank you, ma’am,” Alessa replied and walked away.

“I just feel like I should be included in the plan, not just sit here and do nothing.” Tracy rolled her eyes for the umpteenth time as she asked Thane why they were at the party.

Thane didn't give her a response, he ignored her as usual. Tracy huffed and decided to just enjoy the party.

She noticed Thane’s eyes were focused on a man sitting two seats away from them then she got curious.

“Is that him? Is that our target?” she whispered to him but got no response. He just kept a stern look and wouldn't even look at her. Tracy rolled her eyes at him and looked away.

The party was coming to an end and still nothing happened. Tracy wasn't asking any questions again, she just went with the flow.

Throughout the party, Thane noticed the man kept glancing at Tracy but Tracy didn't.

The party ended and Thane looked around. He was about to get up and head towards him when the man’s guard moved closer to him.

There was no way he could get closer to the man due to the number of guards around him.

“Tracy, there is a slight change of plan here,” Thane said and Tracy turned to him.

“Oh, really? Was there a plan?” she asked with sarcasm evident in her voice.

“Don't do that now. This is important.” Thane said sternly.

“What?”

“The man over there with guards around him is the target.”

“Oh, no kidding,” Tracy replied sarcastically.
