“Why would Autumn want to hurt Anastasia, anyway? She just moved to Riverdale. How could she have made such a big enemy already?”

“Who knows? Katelyn mentioned earlier that Autumn has a daughter. That reminded me—my husband once said it all started because of her daughter.”

“I thought that was just a rumor, but if even Katelyn is saying it, maybe it’s true.”

“I’m not touching it,” Autumn replied, face frosty.

Katelyn beamed. “That’s quite the bump you’ve got! When are you due? Is it a boy or a girl? Just don’t let it be a girl—everyone says daughters take after their moms.”

If Autumn had a daughter as spiteful as herself, she’d be raising another Julie.
