Jordyn turned to Trevor, who was sitting nearby, watching them. “Dad, I want to eat here. Can we have the food packed and brought back?”
Trevor said, “Okay.”
Jordyn immediately brightened up and hugged Celeste even tighter.
Betty and Martha had plenty to talk about. Celeste, on the other hand, mostly sat quietly, occasionally chiming in with a few words.
After a while, Jordyn started feeling tired and asked Celeste, “Mom, when will you be done with work?”
Not wanting Betty to hear, Celeste picked her up and carried her over to the couch near the hospital bed before answering, “I’m not sure, but if things go as expected, I will probably get even busier.”
“Huh?” Jordyn didn’t expect that answer and was visibly disappointed.
“Then when will you have time to take me skiing?” She hadn’t forgotten about it.
Celeste thought for a moment and said, “Next month.”
“Really?”
“Mm.” Celeste nodded. “When I have time, I’ll let you know.”
“Okay!” Jordyn instantly perked up.
Remembering last night, she suddenly asked, “Oh, Mom, dil you go shopping last night?”
Celeste paused for a moment but still replied, “I did.”
“Huh? So, that really was you I saw last night?”
“Possibly.” As soon as Celeste finished speaking, she noticed Trevor glancing sideways at her.
Jordyn hadn’t gone shopping with Celeste in a long time.
There was a time when she thought just aimlessly walking around was boring, but now, thinking back, she actually missed it.
So, she said, “Then next time you have free time, can you take me shopping too? And we have to go to the arcade to play bumper cars!”
Celeste looked away. “Okay.”
Jordyn kept chattering away. Meanwhile, Trevor picked up the cup Celeste had been drinking from, poured out the now–cold water, refilled it with warm water, and placed it back on the coffee table in front of her.
Celeste looked at him and said a quiet, “Thank you.”
Trevor replied, “You’re welcome.” Then, he sat down on the couch beside them.
Mariba and Betty had been having a good conversation, but seeing the three of them sitting together as a family, Martha hesitated mid–sentence.
Following her gaze, Betty looked over but didn’t show any reaction. She simply withdrew her gaze.
Martha sighed. “You see-

“Since they’ve made their decision, let’s not force them,” Betty interrupted.
Martha sighed again.
Not long after, the food Trevor ordered was delivered.
It was a large spread–clearly more than just enough for two people.
Trevor turned to Celeste and said, “Have some too.”
Celeste noticed that half of the dishes were ones she liked. Not only that, but Trevor had instructed the staff to place them all closer to her.
Then, he said, “Jo, go call your Granny over for dinner.”
“Okay!”
Jordyn finally got down from Celeste’s lap and ran over to pull Betty’s hand, inviting her to eat,
Martha chimed in, “Go have a bite. Otherwise, I’d feel bad asking you to come keep me company again tomorrow.”
Left with no choice, Betty walked over and sat down at the table.
Seeing that the dishes in front of Celeste were all her favorites, Betty paused slightly and glanced at Trevor.

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
