Chapter 231
Celeste remained calm.
As she had thought before–with Trevor’s memory, remembering these details wasn’t surprising. The fact that he prepared these dishes was likely just his way of thanking them for visiting Martha.
It didn’t mean anything else.
After finishing their meal, Celeste and Betty sat for another hour before getting ready to leave.
Seeing that it was getting late, Martha didn’t insist on keeping them and instead said to Trevor, “You and Jo should head home early too.”
“Alright,” Trevor replied. “I’ll come see you tomorrow morning.
The four of them left the hospital room together.
Once they entered the elevator, Trevor asked, “Did you drive here yourself?”
Celeste replied with a hum.
Trevor didn’t say anything more, but Jordyn suddenly remembered something and quickly asked, “Mom, are your not coming home tonight too?”
“No,” Celeste replied. “I’m taking your Granny home and staying over at her place for the night.”
“Then I want to stay at Granny’s house too!”
Although Jordyn was now closer to Trevor, in Betty’s heart, she would always be Celeste’s daughter.
Hearing Jordyn say she wanted to go to the Rodriguez residence, Betty, with a warm smile, said, “Alright, alright,”
Since Betty had already agreed, Celeste kept quiet.
However, she reminded Jordyn, “You don’t have any spare dothes at Granny’s house.”
Before Jordyn started living with Trevor more often, Celeste used to take her to the Rodriguez residence
frequently. Back then, she and Adeline, had filled half a wardrobe with clothes for her.
But in the past
years, Jordyn’s visits had significantly decreased, and since children grow fast, neither she nor
Adeline had continued replenishing her wardrobe like before.
So now, there were no clothes at the Rodriguez residence that would fit her.
“Huh?” Jordyn was disappointed. “Then-”
At that moment, Trevor spoke, “I’ll ask someone to send over some clothes”
Celeste hesitated briefly but didn’t say anything.
Jordyn, on the other hand, was thrilled. “Yay! I get to sleep with Mom tonight!”
Qutside the hospital, Jordyn happily followed Celeste to her car, while Trevor walked over to his own car and retrieved Jordyn’s backpack before handing it to her.
Jordyn eagerly took it. “Thank you, Dad!”
Trevor ruffled her hair and glanced at Celeste, who was seated in the driver’s seat. She didn’t look back but instead. said to Jordyn, “Jo, say goodbye to Dad”

Chapter 231
“Goodbye, Dad.”
“Goodbye.” As soon as Trevor finished speaking, Celeste rolled up the winded the steering wheel, and
drove away.
By the time they arrived at the Rodriguez residence, Jordyn’s clothes had already been delivered.
As Jordyn ran upstairs, Betty said to Celeste, “At least he’s not stopping you from being close to Jo. That’s something.”
She had been worried that since custody was with Trevor, he might not let Celeste see her daughter. If that had happened over time, their mother–daughter bond would have inevitably grown distant.
For a mother, that would be far too cruel.
Celeste didn’t explain anything to Betty. She simply responded with a quiet hum, reminded her to rest early, and then went upstairs.
The next morning, the Rodriguez family had breakfast downstairs with Jordyn.
Just then, a message came from the security booth outside they had a visitor.
Celeste glanced at the screen and saw that it was Trevor’s car.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
I'm so excited for tomorrow! I wonder what happened to Jo... What is the story behind that court summons?...
A court summons? Oh my God, what happened?...
Here we go again…drip-drop. One page a day instead of the promised 5 Chapters and even that stops suddenly so we never know if the story will advance. I swear this author is writing the new page on their lunch break and laughing at us when we get frustrated....
I feel like reading the novel from everyone else's perspective, but the main characters. There has never been a glimpse on Trevor's side of thoughts or intentions. He feels like a ghost in this whole storyline. Although i am glad that Mathias revealed the truth about Celeste, but it still feels empty without main character's thoughts or feelings or voices being shared....
Wynn's reputation is over. I read all these chapters for this moment... I'm really glad that Matthias finally said everything at once. All thanks to the fool Quinton...
So we're going to keep going in circles atp, nothing was revealed that we didn't already know,I mean I would've at least liked to see Trevor's reaction to finding out his wife is the co-owner and coder to CUAP,find out who drugged them.Whats happening with the military blacksite, how come Celeste is so quiet she never stands up for herself. All we're getting is reaction's from side character's who don't matter...
Yes.. I'm looking forward to the upcoming chapters......
I don't really understand the writer. Why are Trevor and Celeste silent now? Isn't it about them?...
Who the helly is georgette 😆...
Alas..the truth that has been buried since…is prevailing....
