Celeste and Matthias arrived at the banquet hall, where most guests had already gathered. Celeste’s outstanding appearance and graceful presence immediately attracted many of their attention.
The host of the event, Joshua Simpson, was familiar with Matthias. He smiled and made his way over to greet them. Just as he was about to approach, however, more guests arrived at the entrance of the hall.
Seeing the newcomers, Joshua froze, his disbelief apparent.
The other guests, too, were stunned by the unexpected arrival.
Celeste and Matthias were still facing away from the entrance and were puzzled at the sudden expressions of surprise and delight from the other guests.
As they were about to turn around to see what was happening, Joshua shot them a brief apologetic look before moving past them and heading toward the entrance.
“Good evening, Mr. Fleming, Mr. Harper, and Mr. Quinton
Celeste’s heart skipped a beat as a sudden realization formed in her mind. She turned around and her smile faltered for a moment.
Indeed, it was Trevor, Beck, and Miles.
Wynn had arrived too.
To Celeste’s surprise, Wynn was wearing the same gown Celeste had seen in the boutique the day before, the one valued at over 30 million dollars.
Wynn’s tall, curvaceous figure, paired with the elegance and grace of the gown, made her appear both sensual and regal. She seemed almost untouchable in the eyes of those present.
“Is that Trevor, Beck, and Miles? They rarely attend events. Why are they here today?”
“Seriously, what’s going on?”
“And who is that stunning woman with them? Is she Trevor’s girlfriend? She’s so beautiful! If I could have a woman like that, I’d willingly trade ten years of my life!”
“I prefer the one in the ivory gown, though. She’s quiet and graceful. I think compared to Mr. Fleming’s her type of beauty is much rarer. It’s a shame she’s already with someone.”
Celeste overheard another conversation.
girlfriend,
“Oh my god, that gown! I was in awe when I saw it yesterday! The store manager mentioned it was a custom piece for someone’s girlfriend. I was wondering who the big spender was. Turns out it was Trevor! 30 million dollars, can you believe that?”
“What? 30 million?!”
Celeste’s gaze lowered slowly.
When she saw Wynn in the gown, she had already suspected that it might have been a gift from Trevor. Despite the Locket family’s thriving business, they could hardly afford such extravagant expenditures for an event. On the other hand, 30 million dollars might be nothing to Trevor.
Admittedly, Trevor was very attentive to Wynn. The gown had been custom–ordered two weeks in advance, meaning he had planned to bring Wynn to this event long before it happened.

Matthias was aware of how rarely Trevor participated in such events and was also caught off guard by the coincidence. Similarly, he couldn’t believe Trevor had even brought Wynn along
He looked at Celeste with concern. “Cel…”
Celeste smiled calmly and shook her head. “I’m fine.”

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
