Celeste didn't care how Trevor thought of her or looked at her, nor was she interested.
After leaving the restaurant, Celeste and Matthias' group headed back to Fleming Tech for a meeting.
This time, Lilian and Linda didn't follow. But Wynn did.
Seeing Wynn come along again, Matthias secretly rolled his eyes and said, "Mr. Fleming, about Ms. Locket—"
Trevor seemed to know what he wanted to say.
Before Matthias could finish, Trevor spoke up, "If you're concerned about confidentiality, you don't have to worry. If anything does happen, I'll take full responsibility."
Matthias had expected him to say that. After all, when they first started working with InnovaTech, Trevor had said exactly the same thing.
Even so, Matthias still needed clear assurance.
Hearing Trevor's words, Matthias put on a half-hearted smile and said, "I feel better with your assurance."
During the meeting in the morning, the seat at the center of the table was occupied by Trevor alone. Now that Wynn was here, he had someone add a chair next to him, and she sat down by his side.
Celeste noticed this but quickly withdrew her gaze.
The meeting officially began.
With Matthias present, there was no need for Celeste to speak. She and Kieran mostly just listened quietly.
Midway through the meeting, Celeste got thirsty and reached for a bottle of water nearby.
But Kieran was faster. "Thirsty? Let me help you."
Without waiting for her response, he twisted the cap open for her.
Celeste looked at him, took the bottle, and said, "Thanks."
Kieran smiled and leaned in to quietly chat with her about some technical points that Matthias and Trevor had just discussed.
Celeste lowered her voice and responded.
Which meant that even if other men tried to flirt with Celeste, even if Celeste were hurt or toyed with, Trevor wouldn't care at all.
Realizing this, Wynn smiled faintly.
Meanwhile, Jorge wasn't paying much attention to Kieran. Instead, his focus was on Wynn and Trevor.
There had been a time when Trevor and Celeste seemed close.
Jorge had worried that Trevor might do something to betray Wynn. But recently, they didn't seem to be in contact much anymore.
Maybe Trevor had once been briefly attracted to Celeste's looks, but ultimately, he hadn't been "won over".
The one he loved was still Wynn.
Today—whether at lunch or now at the meeting—Trevor truly hadn't paid any special attention to Celeste.
Because of this, Jorge also felt much more at ease.

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
