Kieran had all the makings of a perfect partner, which made Linda nearly jump out of the car in protest.
"No way! What if Mr. Gibson really falls for that bitch? Then we'll lose a friend and add an enemy!"
Ruby just chuckled, unconcerned. She lightly tapped her daughter's head and said, "Silly girl. With Wynn shining like a gem, how could Mr. Gibson really fall for Celeste?"
Over the years, she had seen firsthand just how irresistible Wynn was to men.
Wynn said nothing.
She wasn't about to comment on whether Patricia's strategy would work—but like Ruby, she was confident Kieran wouldn't be swayed by Celeste.
She knew exactly how deeply Kieran loved her. She had absolute confidence in that.
Lilian, though silent, shared the same view that Kieran wouldn't truly fall for Celeste.
With that point firmly settled, she finally said, "Because of the missed opportunity with YodaVision, Wynn has lost so much in recent months. Meanwhile, Celeste used that very opportunity to launch herself—and now, she's clearly on the rise.
"If we let her keep going and allow her to stay with Matthias, she really might carve out a name for herself in the AI industry.
"So, disrupting her relationship with Matthias and reclaiming the connections with Matthias and Zachary that Wynn lost is something we must do now.
"Otherwise, we may lose even more in the future!"
That hit home.
Recalling how Celeste had cost them a 300-million-dollar breach of contract, and then seeing her bask in glory these past few weeks because of the paper she released, Linda burned with jealousy and resentment.
After hearing Lilian's analysis, she no longer objected.
Instead, she eagerly asked, "Then what do we do? Mr. Gibson is so into Wynn, he definitely won't go along with it, right?"
Balancing Wynn's image and getting Kieran to play along would take some careful maneuvering. But it was not impossible.
…
Celeste, Matthias, and Kieran returned to YodaVision's office building after lunch.
When the elevator reached their floor and the doors slid open, they stepped out. Just as they were about to head for the entrance, they saw a tall, well-built figure standing by the front desk.
He looked straight at her, then added politely to Matthias, "Mr. Yoder, long time no see."
Matthias grinned and shook hands with him. "Long time indeed. This must be your first visit to YodaVision, right? Since you're here, why not come in for a little tour?"
"Sure," Caleb replied with a smile—casting another glance at Celeste, but also catching the icy stare from Kieran nearby.
Though they had never met, Caleb could immediately sense Kieran's hostility.
The way Kieran stood close to Celeste, his posture and expression practically screamed possessiveness—displeased by Caleb's appearance and protective over Celeste.
Caleb immediately understood.
He paused, then looked over at Kieran and asked, "This is...?"
Matthias wanted Celeste to introduce them. But she said nothing.
So, he had no choice but to speak up. "This is Kieran Gibson, an engineer here at YodaVision."

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
Another saviour debt?? Seriously?...
I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
My fav novel post us more chap per day...
