Celeste didn't say anything and walked past Trevor and Jacob into the meeting room.
Many people in the room had seen her talking with Trevor at the door.
However, since most of them didn't know the nature of her relationship with him, they simply assumed it was a casual greeting and didn't think much of it.
But Matthias was in the know.
When he saw her return, he quietly asked, "Did you have a fight with him?"
Celeste shook her head. "No."
Even at the peak of tension and conflict between her and Trevor, they had never fought—let alone now.
Fleming Group and YodaVision had just officially begun their collaboration, so Celeste ended up spending nearly the entire day at Fleming Group.
That afternoon, just after 5:00 pm, a sudden cheer erupted from the meeting room.
"Holy crap, it actually worked!"
"Huh? What happened?"
"Ms. Rodriguez said the model we were working on before wasn't good enough. We discussed it last week, and over the past few days, we implemented her suggestions, from the algorithm to the data, all the way to the model structure.
"Now, the efficiency of our model has improved dramatically! The bottleneck that's plagued us for almost two years has actually been resolved just like that!"
Another person added, "The alignment issue that's been troubling us for ages also made real progress. I've got to say, Ms. Rodriguez is absolutely incredible!"
It was worth noting that Fleming Group was one of the top tech firms in the country. Everyone here was among the best in the industry—talent that Fleming Group had paid handsomely to recruit.
In other words, whether by public acclaim or self-confidence, none of them lacked skills.
Yet now, they truly understood that no matter how good one was, there would always be someone who was one step ahead.
Fleming Group's tech team looked at Celeste with sparkling eyes.
But it was obvious that Celeste was operating at a level above them all.
She could identify the core of a problem at a glance and offer a solution on the spot. It was so quick that even the engineers struggled to keep up with her train of thought.
Let alone someone like Wynn…
The engineers, still excited by the breakthrough, were about to continue discussing what exactly made the breakthrough so brilliant, when suddenly Trevor's voice cut in, "What's with all the excitement?"
The engineers didn't feel the need to hold back just because he was the CEO of Fleming Group.
One of them was just about to respond when Wynn interrupted them. "You're done with work?"
Trevor gave a quiet hum and was about to pick up the earlier conversation when he happened to glance over at her and noticed her expression.
So, he asked with concern, "Why do you look so pale? Are you feeling unwell?"

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
Uhuh. And what, pray tell, is it that you know to be doing Trevor?...
Mr. Lincoln, you never raised your son. He is not a real man... When I see him, I just remember the line from the song that says "I guess no one ever told you how to be a real man."...
Did Trevor shut down the internet? If he does it, he's truly the biggest whore I've ever seen in my life... This guy raised my blood pressure throughout 800 chapters...
ok im done im not reading this trash anymore its repetitive celeste finally speaks and its less than 5 words.this isn't good at all and now we're getting the netizens pov but not hers. EVERYBODY HAS AN OPINION EXCEPT HER AND TREVOR...
I’m not liking where this is headed.. I’m getting the sense that the author is following the revenging husband storyline and Trevor did all this just to avenge his wife...
Isn't this a company that Celeste and Matthias work for? This will be a fatal blow to those scoundrels....
I'm so excited for tomorrow! I wonder what happened to Jo... What is the story behind that court summons?...
A court summons? Oh my God, what happened?...
Here we go again…drip-drop. One page a day instead of the promised 5 Chapters and even that stops suddenly so we never know if the story will advance. I swear this author is writing the new page on their lunch break and laughing at us when we get frustrated....
I feel like reading the novel from everyone else's perspective, but the main characters. There has never been a glimpse on Trevor's side of thoughts or intentions. He feels like a ghost in this whole storyline. Although i am glad that Mathias revealed the truth about Celeste, but it still feels empty without main character's thoughts or feelings or voices being shared....
