"It's nothing." Wynn smiled, then calmly glanced at her watch and said, "It's about time. Let's go."
Trevor replied, "Okay."
After briefly greeting everyone in the meeting room, he turned and left with Wynn.
Celeste, meanwhile, continued working with the engineers.
…
Celeste had been worrying about Betty's health. So, she had been staying at the Rodriguez residence ever since Isabelle's medical checkup.
That night, after finishing work at Fleming Group, Celeste returned to the Rodriguez residence for dinner.
Just after she finished eating, her phone lit up with a new message.
It was from Caleb. "I'm heading back to base tomorrow."
Celeste read the message but didn't reply.
Perhaps anticipating her silence, Caleb sent another message a moment later. "See you in a month."
This was his way of telling her that he would start pursuing her officially once she got divorced.
Celeste understood what he meant, but still didn't reply.
She set her phone down and was about to flip through the book on the table when it rang again.
This time, it was a call from Martha.
As soon as Celeste answered, the old lady's voice came through the phone. "Cel, I already heard about Isabelle. This is such a serious matter. How could you and Betty not say a word to me?"
Celeste paused, unsure how to respond.
Martha pressed anxiously, "I heard from Wilma that ever since Betty found out about Isabelle's condition, her health deteriorated. How is she now?"
"She's been a little better these past two days—her spirits are improving."
Martha let out a sigh of relief. "That's good, that's good." Then she quickly added, "Don't worry, Cel. I'll help with Isabelle's case. I'll find the best doctors for her."
"Thank you, Grandma," Celeste replied. "But I've already asked someone to contact a leading expert in this field. They'll be arriving tomorrow to assess my mother's condition personally."
"Oh? That's good. Let's see what they say."
"Yeah."
After that, Martha fell silent for a moment, clearly troubled. "Your mother really is..."
…So unfortunate.
Celeste understood what she meant, even if she didn't finish the sentence.
Trevor said, "I doubt it. She gets annoyed every time she sees me."
…
The next day, when Celeste and Betty arrived at the hospital, Martha was already there.
The specialists had also arrived right on time.
Leading the team was an elderly lady who was even older than both Martha and Betty.
"Is that... Dr. Tindall?"
Lauren Tindall was one of the world's top experts in treating organ failure.
She had retired years ago, and not just anyone could hire her.
Even people with power and influence found it almost impossible to reach her.
Most of the top specialists in the country in this field were once her students.
When Celeste said she had arranged for experts to come, Martha had never expected that expert to be her.
To be honest, seeing her here truly shocked Martha.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
Another saviour debt?? Seriously?...
I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
My fav novel post us more chap per day...
