As Isabelle's condition was in the early stages and her organ failure not yet severe, Lauren and her medical team were able to make several adjustments based on her overall health and condition.
In the end, they managed to find a treatment plan that could stabilize her illness.
When the news came, the tension that had been gripping Celeste and Betty finally eased. The dark cloud that had hung over the Rodriguez family for half a month had finally lifted.
That night, overwhelmed with joy, Betty even cooked dinner to celebrate with everyone.
After dinner, just as Celeste sat down with Betty in the living room, Celeste's phone rang—it was a call from Jordyn.
It had actually been over a month since mother and daughter last spoke.
Strictly speaking, Celeste should have answered the call the last time Jordyn tried. But at that time, she had just found out about Isabelle's organ failure. Her mood was terrible, so she didn't answer the call.
Now…
When she saw the caller ID, Betty said, "Answer it."
Though she didn't say it, she cared deeply about the bond between Jordyn and Wynn.
She had noticed that Celeste hadn't let Jordyn visit lately, and she'd already guessed why—Celeste was worried that seeing Jordyn might further aggravate her already fragile emotions.
Although she had never truly blamed Jordyn for her closeness with Wynn, the truth was that if she had seen her during that difficult period, it probably would have triggered bitterness and resentment.
Now that her daughter's illness had a glimmer of hope, of course she wanted Celeste and Jordyn to reconcile.
Celeste looked at the name on her phone screen. Then, she picked up after a few seconds.
…
Jordyn had planned to try again in a few days the last time Celeste didn't answer. But Trevor, who used to encourage her to call her mother whenever she missed her, had told her not to disturb Celeste as she was very busy.
"He will agree!" Jordyn cut her off excitedly before she could finish. "I'm going to pack my things now. Mom, wait for me!"
Then she hung up immediately, turned to the man sitting beside her, and said, "Mom said I can go see her!"
Trevor turned a page of his book before finally looking up and asking, "Got it. Do you need me to drive you?"
"Nope!" Jordyn replied, and without another second to spare, she grabbed Hannah and rushed upstairs to pack.
Just a few minutes later, she came bouncing downstairs with her backpack, and as she passed Trevor—who was still reading in the living room—she didn't even glance at him.
She waved quickly as she ran out the door. "Dad, I'm heading out now!"
Trevor turned slightly, watching her small figure disappear out the door, and said calmly, "Okay. Be safe. And good night."
"Good night!"

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
Another saviour debt?? Seriously?...
I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
My fav novel post us more chap per day...
