Jorge didn't leave and continued to stay by Wynn's side.
A short while later, just as Wynn was about to go look for Trevor, he was no longer standing by Celeste's side.
Instead, Celeste was speaking with Harold.
Given how well Harold and Jorge knew each other, it was natural for them to greet one another in public.
After the greeting, Jorge began introducing Wynn, "Mr. Jennings, this is—"
But Harold smiled and cut him off, saying, "Ms. Locket, we've met before."
Wynn politely greeted Harold.
He nodded and smiled, then turned his gaze back to Celeste. "Cel, have you been keeping busy lately?"
Even though the summit had ended, they were still in a public setting.
Harold's warm and familiar way of addressing Celeste, and the gentler tone he used with her compared to how he spoke with Jorge, made it clear.
Harold was quite fond of Celeste and made no attempt to hide it.
Celeste nodded. "Yes."
She could certainly sense Harold's fondness.
She had always greeted him normally in the past. But when Jorge suddenly walked over just now, it reminded her that Harold was actually Caleb's father.
Thinking about Caleb's pursuit, Celeste didn't feel uncomfortable around Harold. After all, nothing had actually happened between her and Caleb.
Harold's attitude toward Wynn wasn't cold or dismissive, but compared to the way he treated Celeste, the difference was obvious.
In fact, after Wynn had greeted him, Harold didn't speak to her further. It was as if he wasn't interested in building a closer connection, let alone showing any kind of admiration.
If he had wanted to show support, he would've at least mentioned InnovaTech, the company she represented.
After all, she'd been invited to this summit, which should've given her some standing.
When they had last met, she could tell that Theodore seemed to like Celeste quite a bit. She had assumed he would mention Celeste to Jorge, and that might change Jorge's perception of her.
But apparently…
Harold was a busy man. So, after chatting for a few minutes, Celeste moved on to other matters as well.
After a while, Celeste found a break and quietly left the hall.
Seeing her leave, Beck's expression shifted slightly. He turned to Trevor beside him and said, "Trevor, I've got something to do. I'll head out first."
Trevor turned his head. "Not joining me for dinner?"
Beck shook his head. "No."
"Alright," Trevor didn't insist. "Let's catch up again when you're free."
"Sure."

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
