The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor) novel Chapter 430
Beck chased after Celeste, but he was still too late. By the time he reached the elevator, Celeste had already taken it downstairs.
Elsewhere, Trevor was chatting with someone when his phone rang.
He glanced at the caller ID and answered.
After a while, he hung up, just as Wynn walked over and asked, "Who was it? You sounded pretty happy."
"A college classmate. He's in Baumond on a business trip. We haven't seen each other in ages, so he wanted to catch up over a meal. I happened to be free, so I agreed."
Then Trevor asked, "Want to come along?"
When she met Trevor, he had already graduated. She had seen a few of his college friends in social settings, but they all seemed to just be acquaintances.
This one, however, seemed to have a closer relationship with him.
She nodded and said, "Sure."
Trevor chatted with a few more people, then left with Wynn for the restaurant where they were meeting.
His classmate, an expatriate named Chester Leighton, was already there. He was quite good-looking.
When he saw them arrive, he stood up and greeted them, then smiled and asked awkwardly, "Is this... your girlfriend?" Then, he praised her. "She's beautiful. You two look great together."
Trevor introduced Wynn to him.
Chester, curious, asked how they met.
Wynn smiled and said, "In Andostan. I had just finished class at the time..."
When she finished, Chester gave an exaggerated "Wow," and said, "A talented woman! Trevor, your taste hasn't changed at all.
"I heard the young woman you liked before also skipped grades to get into college. She was super impressive too. Back then, people said you two even got married before she graduated..."
Wynn smiled modestly and replied truthfully, "I wouldn't say I'm that impressive. It was actually Trevor who started the company. Later on..." She explained the backstory.
Usually, when she told people this, their reaction would be like "Wow, Trevor must really care about you." But Chester was a bit different.
He just looked at her. Though he didn't say anything, it seemed he no longer saw her as exceptional as he'd initially thought.
There was a faint look of disappointment in his eyes as he glanced at Trevor, as if questioning his judgment or perhaps thinking she wasn't good enough for him.
Wynn's smile faded a little.
Realizing he had let his reaction show too clearly, Chester cleared his throat and asked, "How's the company doing now?"
Trevor replied, "We recently had a technical breakthrough, and the company's value made a significant leap."
"Oh, I see..." Chester smiled and said, "Well, with you there, it's no surprise. Running a tech company and increasing its value shouldn't be too hard for you."

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
