"Cel understands engines and chips? How is that possible?"
Even after Celeste's paper earlier caused a stir, Harvey still didn't believe she was truly the one who wrote it.
And now Lilian was telling him that Celeste was very skilled in things like engines and chip technology?
How could that be possible?
Lilian lowered her gaze. Whether it was possible or not, they only had to check online to find out.
A moment later, after watching part of Celeste's presentation from Velotra's launch event, Lilian's heart gradually sank.
Harvey, on the other hand, still couldn't believe it.
Then Linda said angrily over the phone, "She did it on purpose! She sabotaged Uncle Harvey's transportation project, and now she's trying to target Wynn's company too!"
On that point, both Harvey and Lilian agreed.
Whether the breakthrough technology shown at the press conference truly belonged to Celeste or not, one thing was clear—Velotra's launch event would deal a serious blow to InnovaTech.
Before they could say anything, Linda continued, now full of anxiety. "What do we do now? Everyone's saying Velotra will likely dominate the autonomous vehicle market going forward. Wynn's company has no competitiveness left—"
Although Velotra did seem impressive right now—
Lilian released her clenched fist and said in a calm, unaffected tone, "Technology evolves every day. Today it's your company with the breakthrough, tomorrow it's mine with a better edge.
"Autonomous vehicles haven't officially launched on a global scale yet. We still have time. Fortune is a fickle mistress. It's too early to say who'll truly win the market once these cars are commercially available."
What Lilian said wasn't entirely wrong.
However, Harvey knew very well that his own tech company had failed to produce any real competitive breakthroughs for years. He also knew it wasn't easy to gain a technological edge.
After all, if achieving tech breakthroughs were simple, there wouldn't be so few tech giants in the world, whether in the country or abroad.
The key to technological breakthroughs lay in gaining the upper hand early.
And Velotra's breakthrough wasn't just on one front—it was on multiple fronts, and their advancements had global significance.
Other companies could only look up to Velotra or try to catch up. That might take a year or two at best, or ten to twenty years at worst.
Wynn sat down and shook her head. "Trevor didn't say anything."
Lilian, in the middle of lifting her teacup, froze. "What do you mean?"
Wynn answered, "Regarding Velotra's launch today, he didn't say a word."
Trevor hadn't commented at all—not on Celeste, not on Velotra's future. Nothing.
Lilian froze again.
Harvey and Linda both looked stunned.
This wasn't like Trevor at all.
Velotra's launch was putting InnovaTech under such massive pressure.
Under normal circumstances, Trevor would have comforted Wynn, told her not to worry, and then carefully analyzed Velotra's tech breakthroughs from every angle—technical, market, and business—and discussed what strategies they needed to adopt to overcome the current crisis.
But this time, he'd said nothing.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
Did Trevor shut down the internet? If he does it, he's truly the biggest whore I've ever seen in my life... This guy raised my blood pressure throughout 800 chapters...
ok im done im not reading this trash anymore its repetitive celeste finally speaks and its less than 5 words.this isn't good at all and now we're getting the netizens pov but not hers. EVERYBODY HAS AN OPINION EXCEPT HER AND TREVOR...
I’m not liking where this is headed.. I’m getting the sense that the author is following the revenging husband storyline and Trevor did all this just to avenge his wife...
Isn't this a company that Celeste and Matthias work for? This will be a fatal blow to those scoundrels....
I'm so excited for tomorrow! I wonder what happened to Jo... What is the story behind that court summons?...
A court summons? Oh my God, what happened?...
Here we go again…drip-drop. One page a day instead of the promised 5 Chapters and even that stops suddenly so we never know if the story will advance. I swear this author is writing the new page on their lunch break and laughing at us when we get frustrated....
I feel like reading the novel from everyone else's perspective, but the main characters. There has never been a glimpse on Trevor's side of thoughts or intentions. He feels like a ghost in this whole storyline. Although i am glad that Mathias revealed the truth about Celeste, but it still feels empty without main character's thoughts or feelings or voices being shared....
Wynn's reputation is over. I read all these chapters for this moment... I'm really glad that Matthias finally said everything at once. All thanks to the fool Quinton...
So we're going to keep going in circles atp, nothing was revealed that we didn't already know,I mean I would've at least liked to see Trevor's reaction to finding out his wife is the co-owner and coder to CUAP,find out who drugged them.Whats happening with the military blacksite, how come Celeste is so quiet she never stands up for herself. All we're getting is reaction's from side character's who don't matter...
