Jordyn held Celeste's hand with one hand and tugged on Trevor with the other. "Let's go for lunch together!"
Celeste paused, intending to pull her hand away, but then she heard Jordyn suddenly say,
"I think it's been a really, really long time since I had a meal with both Mom and Dad."
Seeing how happy Jordyn looked, holding both her and Trevor's hands, and noticing how the other kids around them were all accompanied by both parents, Celeste hesitated.
She had insisted on keeping the baby when she got pregnant unexpectedly, and in the years that followed, Trevor had basically not been involved in Jordyn's life.
However, in the last couple of years, he started getting close to Jordyn. But it caused the mother and daughter to spend more time apart than together.
In other words, Jordyn had never truly experienced being in a "complete" family.
Celeste felt that in that sense, she had failed Jordyn. She gave birth to her, raised her—yet had barely given her a normal childhood...
No matter what kind of relationship she and Trevor might have in the future, they would always be Jordyn's biological parents.
Regarding Jordyn's future, even after the divorce, they would still have to sit down and discuss things together.
So having a meal together like this... wasn't a big deal.
"Mom?" Seeing she hadn't replied, Jordyn shook her hand and looked up at her.
Celeste came back to her senses, glanced at Trevor, wanting to ask what he thought. But just as she looked up, she saw he was already watching her from the side, as if he could read her mind.
He asked, "What should we have for lunch?"
Celeste looked away and answered calmly, "You decide."
Trevor nodded. "Okay."
A while later, they each got into their cars and headed to the restaurant.
When they arrived and entered a private dining room, Jordyn sat in the middle.
Trevor handed the menu to Celeste before asking, "Will you be going to Fleming Group this afternoon?"
"I have other things to do, I won't be going."
"Alright."
Trevor poured her a cup of tea.
Celeste didn't really speak to him much after that.
When they were done with the meal and Celeste was getting ready to leave, Jordyn tugged on her, asking her to stay a little longer.
Unable to resist, Celeste agreed.
Trevor seemed to have finished his work and wasn't in a rush to leave either. He joined them as they went to a game arcade.
Celeste didn't engage with him.
Trevor seemed to notice and didn't force it. Instead, he stood behind them, quietly watching as Celeste taught Jordyn how to play the games.
After playing for a while, Celeste remained expressionless, but Jordyn was worried her father might be bored.
"Dad, do you want to play with us?"
Trevor glanced at Celeste, who clearly wasn't paying him any attention.
He smiled slightly and said, "It's okay. I'm happy just watching you two play."
"Okay then!"

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
Another saviour debt?? Seriously?...
I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
My fav novel post us more chap per day...
