Linda immediately scoffed, "I said it before—she's not that capable. You just wouldn't believe me."
Ruby laughed and added, "It's just that we never expected she'd be so bold, daring to fake it in front of so many people. Right, Wynn?"
Wynn didn't reply, but a faint smile slowly curved on her lips.
At that moment, Linda cheerfully added, "So, that means after that bitch gets divorced, it probably won't be easy for her to marry into the Yoder family."
If Celeste's actual abilities were inflated and her chance of marrying into a wealthy family was slim, then whether it was her or the Rodriguez family, their chances of truly rising up would be even slimmer.
With that thought, Patricia, Linda, and the others all felt much better.
Once they got into the car, Patricia smiled and said, "Next Wednesday is the last day of the cooling-off period. Once Trevor returns from overseas, they can basically go and finalize the divorce."
Linda perked up with excitement, "Exactly!"
Even though she wasn't directly involved, she still felt thrilled.
After all, even if she'd been addressing Trevor as her "brother-in-law" every day and believed that Wynn and he were deeply committed, the thought that Trevor and Celeste were still legally married had always bothered her deep down.
Patricia and Lilian felt the same.
Even though they knew Trevor and Wynn had a stable relationship, the fact that he was still legally married to Celeste made them uncomfortable.
If they, as outsiders, were bothered by the relationship between Trevor and Celeste, then Wynn herself certainly felt it even more intensely.
Before, because the relationship between Trevor and Celeste had been terrible, Wynn thought herself clearly superior in every aspect.
Thinking that, Wynn replied lightly, "Not sure yet."
"Not sure?" Linda frowned. "You don't think he'll still be overseas when the cooling-off period ends, do you?"
Patricia didn't seem concerned. She said, "When work gets busy, scheduling can be unpredictable. Whether he makes it back by Thursday or a few days later—what does it matter?"
As long as the divorce happens, she didn't mind waiting a few extra days.
Linda nodded. "Alright then."
Wynn didn't say anything after hearing that.
After returning home, she called Trevor. But once again, no one answered.

I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
