After finishing her work and leaving the base, Celeste returned home and turned on her phone. It was then that she found out Trevor had replied to her message more than an hour after she had left for the base.
His reply was a simple "Okay."
Perhaps because he had failed to keep their original appointment, in the past half month, aside from that single reply, he hadn't called her even once.
Instead, it was Jordyn who had called her around five times over the last ten days.
Seeing this, Celeste simply sent Trevor a message. "I'm done with work. I'm available on Monday."
After sending the message and waiting quite a while with no response, she didn't bother to wait further.
As for the missed calls from Jordyn, Celeste figured she probably just missed her—there wasn't anything urgent.
So, Celeste didn't return the call.
It had been nearly half a month since she'd last visited Isabelle in the hospital.
After taking a shower and having breakfast, she went to the hospital with her family to visit her.
Isabelle's organ failure was gradually improving. Celeste gratefully said, "Thank you, Dr. Tindall."
Lauren patted her on the shoulder and said, "No need to thank me—it's what I should do."
After the visit, Celeste and Betty took the elevator downstairs. As they stepped out, they happened to see Patricia, Wynn, and Linda.
Seeing them, both Celeste and Betty paused for a second but then composed themselves and walked out as usual.
However, Patricia and Linda didn't look too pleased.
Since Trevor brought up divorcing Celeste, they had heard that she had been cooperating well.
Their appointment to finalize the divorce had already been delayed for over two weeks because of Trevor's work. They had expected to finalize things last Monday once he was free.
But unexpectedly, Celeste "disappeared" right at that moment—she stopped showing up for work and stopped answering calls.
Linda was clearly frustrated, but she held it in. Thinking that once Trevor finished his business, he would push for the divorce soon, and that no matter how Celeste tried to drag things out, it wouldn't last much longer—they would eventually divorce.
That thought helped her feel a little better.
But then she remembered that Trevor had brought Jordyn along on his business trip and had even said he would take her on a few days' vacation overseas.
Knowing he probably wouldn't return for another day or two, her mood soured again.
She couldn't help pouting to Wynn, "Wynn, why don't you ask Trev to come back earlier? He can take that little troublemaker on vacation after the divorce—what's the difference?"
Hearing this, Wynn remained calm and said, "You don't need to worry about that. Trevor knows how to handle things."
…
Meanwhile, after Celeste got in the car, Trevor finally replied. "Got it. I'll be back tomorrow."

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
Another saviour debt?? Seriously?...
I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
My fav novel post us more chap per day...
