Linda curled her lips and gave a cold snort. "Taking on so many major projects at once—let's see if they can swallow it all without choking."
But even as she said that, she didn't sound confident—if anything, her words came off as sour.
After all, if YodaVision dared to take on that many projects, chances are, they had the capacity to manage them.
Linda's father, Luther Shaw, was also bitter.
Thinking about how both the Locket family's tech company and InnovaTech were constantly hitting bottlenecks, while YodaVision seemed to be progressing without any setbacks, he couldn't help but grumble, "I wonder how Matthias hires people—how does he keep finding such top-tier talent?"
Ever since YodaVision became widely known, both InnovaTech and the Locket family's tech company had tried to poach people from them.
But after YodaVision gained fame, countless big-name companies—both domestic and international—started trying to recruit YodaVision's tech staff.
The Locket family and InnovaTech had no real advantage in that competition.
So, even though they offered decent packages, it was still incredibly hard to lure away truly outstanding talent.
And the fact that YodaVision, despite constantly being targeted by headhunters from major companies, still managed to roll out new innovations from time to time, proved that they had no shortage of creative and capable people.
Just that alone was enough to make others envious, jealous, and resentful.
Hearing all this, Wynn lowered her head, poking at the food on her plate without saying a word.
Although both the Lockets and the Shaws had hoped Wynn could help achieve a technical breakthrough, the more they learned about the industry, the more they realized how incredibly difficult such breakthroughs actually were.
So when Wynn didn't respond, no one pressed her. They simply assumed she too was troubled over InnovaTech's stalled progress.
…
The next day, Celeste headed to the conference room for a meeting. Shortly after she sat down, Matthias arrived as well.
Before the meeting began, Matthias leaned in and said to her, "This morning my mom mentioned that a certain auction house has been quite lively lately. They're about to auction off a rare, one-of-a-kind diamond.
"I remember you once mentioned that your mom really likes diamonds—do you want to go check it out?"
Who would dare bet their entire fortune on that?
At the time, her cousins were still very young, and the Rodriguez family business was struggling to stay profitable.
So in the end, Celeste had no choice but to watch that opportunity slip by.
More than ten years had passed since then.
Now, another rare diamond had finally surfaced—this time released by a private collector. So, it held great historical value.
If they missed this chance, who knew how long they'd have to wait for another?
Hearing what Matthias said, Celeste's heart stirred. She couldn't help but say, "I want to go."
Even if the diamond didn't end up having the miraculous effect she hoped for, if her mother liked it—even just to hold or admire—it would be worth it. She wouldn't regret it.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
Another saviour debt?? Seriously?...
I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
My fav novel post us more chap per day...
