Before they knew it, the day of YodaVision's anniversary celebration had arrived.
That afternoon, Celeste and Matthias set aside their work. After spending half the day preparing, they showed up at the venue in full formal attire, right on time.
This celebration had a very large guest list. Not long after they arrived, guests began streaming in.
Jorge was among them.
Although he didn't like Celeste or Matthias, he hadn't seen Wynn for a while because of work. He knew she would be attending tonight, so he deliberately came earlier than usual.
Matthias was busy greeting a few newly arrived guests.
Seeing Jorge, Celeste—though she had no fondness for him—still stepped forward dutifully. "Mr. Robinson, it's been a while. Please, come inside."
Jorge cast her a cool glance. Seeing her use such a polite tone, he didn't want to start anything. He gave her a brief nod, but his gaze clearly wasn't on her. Almost instantly, he scanned the wide hall.
When he didn't see Wynn, a flicker of disappointment crossed his eyes.
Still, he wasn't too disappointed—after all, Trevor was never one to arrive early at banquets.
As more guests came in, Jorge pulled his gaze back and said flatly, "You'd better greet the other guests."
Celeste couldn't be more relieved. But she didn't neglect courtesy.
She smiled politely. "Of course. There are many guests today. If anything isn't up to standard, I hope you'll forgive us, Mr. Robinson."
Her tone carried the air of a hostess.
Jorge didn't like the sound of that, but decided not to argue. He only gave a cold nod.
Celeste didn't press further, turning away to greet others.
Not long after she'd started chatting with others, Trevor and Wynn arrived.
Like Jorge, Celeste knew Trevor usually belonged to the group of people who showed up late to banquets.
"Mr. Fleming, Ms. Locket."
Trevor smiled slightly at the sight of him. "Ah, Mr. Robinson. Long time no see."
"Indeed. Long time no see."
Celeste's blatant disregard just now had left Wynn feeling unsettled. But now, with a familiar face here, and with Jorge's gaze fixed on her, her mood lifted somewhat.
When he greeted her, she also gave a small nod. "Mr. Robinson."
With someone else stepping in to entertain Trevor, Celeste felt her burden ease. "There are more guests arriving," she said. "I'll leave you all to chat."
At her words, Trevor's gaze landed on her. "Go ahead."
Celeste didn't look back, simply nodded, and walked away.
Just as she did, Beck and Miles happened to arrive.

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
