The Quinton family was, after all, a well-known family in Baumond. So, seeing Miles invited was no surprise to Celeste.
"Mr. Harper, Mr. Quinton, welcome."
Although Miles would occasionally run into Celeste, it had actually been quite a long time since they'd even exchanged basic greetings.
Beck, on the other hand, couldn't help but arch a brow. Celeste was treating him with the same distant politeness as any other guest tonight.
And when he noticed how smoothly she was greeting others, taking on the full air of a hostess, his brow arched even higher.
It had been a while since Beck had seen her. He was just about to speak when his gaze caught Trevor and Wynn inside the banquet hall.
Miles spotted them too. His eyes widened slightly in surprise. "Trevor is already here?"
Beck was a little surprised himself. He looked over, and just as he was about to turn away, Trevor and Wynn also noticed them.
Trevor offered them a smile. Wynn had been smiling too, but the moment her eyes landed on Beck, her smile faltered.
Miles waved to them and was about to tug Beck along, but Beck didn't move. He gestured for Miles to wait, then turned back to Celeste.
"I've been following the news about YodaVision lately. Congratulations."
In just half a year, YodaVision had achieved such staggering success. She and Matthias truly were formidable.
Celeste's smile, this time, was genuine. "Thank you."
Of course, Miles was well aware of YodaVision's financial report for the first half of the year.
But hearing Beck congratulate her so earnestly, he didn't think too deeply about it. To him, it was only natural to congratulate Celeste, who was clearly an "important figure" in YodaVision.
Trevor acknowledged with a hum. "Why?"
"Nothing." He glanced toward Celeste, who was still earnestly greeting guests.
And among YodaVision's attendees, people were already treating her as if she were another co-founder of the company.
Lowering his voice, he murmured, "She really looks the part of YodaVision's co-founder now. Is she seriously planning to marry Matthias once she and you divorce?"
Trevor gave him a faint smile. "That I don't know. If you're so curious, why not ask her yourself?"
Ask her directly? What kind of relationship did he think he had with Celeste? But then...
Miles seemed to think of something and turned to Beck. "Beck, you're on decent terms with her and Matthias these days. Have you heard anything?"

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
