Nadine disliked Wynn, and she equally disliked Trevor.
After mocking Wynn, she turned to Trevor with a smile and said, "I've always heard people say that you and Ms. Locket are deeply in love, that no matter where you go, you always bring Ms. Locket along.
"Seeing it today, I realize the rumors really weren't exaggerated at all."
Although Nadine was clearly being sarcastic, the way she said it with a smile would make anyone unaware think she was genuinely praising Trevor and Wynn's relationship.
Just then, someone happened to come over to chat with them. Hearing this, that person smiled and chimed in, "Yes, Mr. Fleming really is wonderful to Ms. Locket."
Nadine cast Trevor a cold glance. She didn't respond, but she didn't continue either.
After all, today was a big celebratory day for YodaVision. If the banquet turned chaotic because of the two of them, it wouldn't be worth it.
Matthias and Celeste thought the same.
Matthias forced a smile and said, "Mr. Fleming, my mentor and I have something to take care of, so we'll excuse ourselves."
Wynn naturally understood the meaning behind Nadine's earlier quip of "I've long heard of you." Her expression didn't look too good hearing that.
Although Nadine had mocked Wynn, she hadn't spared Trevor either. Yet on Trevor's face, there was no trace of anger.
After Matthias spoke, he maintained his smile and politeness, saying, "It's fine, you go ahead." With that, he gave a polite nod, then left together with Wynn.
After they had left for a while, Nadine lowered her voice and asked Celeste, "How long until your mandatory waiting period is over?"
Celeste answered truthfully, "Less than half a month."
Nadine pursed her lips and said, "This time, make sure nothing goes wrong."
"Yes," Celeste replied.
From what Zachary had implied, if there were no unexpected incidents, she probably wouldn't need to go to the base again for the next month.
"That's good." Nadine felt relieved.
He looked over and was just about to withdraw his gaze when he caught sight of Trevor's gaze.
At first, he didn't pay much attention, but then he noticed something, paused, and turned his head again to look at Trevor.
And in that moment, he realized—Trevor was looking at Celeste.
Noticing this, his expression darkened.
But then, Trevor withdrew his gaze.
Seeing that, Jorge wondered if he was just overthinking it. After all, Trevor truly did treat Wynn very well.
Still, he kept his guard up, sneaking glances at Trevor from time to time.
It didn't take long before he realized he hadn't been overthinking at all—because while talking with others, Trevor's gaze once again fell on Celeste.

This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
