Trevor's gaze lingered on Celeste for two to three seconds before moving away.
So, while he appeared to be engaged in serious conversation with others, Jorge noticed that in reality, his eyes were on Celeste.
When Celeste and Matthias finished chatting with someone and walked away, Trevor would occasionally search for Celeste's figure again.
Meanwhile, Celeste was fully focused on assisting Matthias in greeting guests. She didn't notice Trevor's attention on her at all.
Seeing this, a wave of anger surged in Jorge's chest.
When Trevor withdrew his gaze and turned his head, he happened to meet Jorge's eyes. He gave Jorge a polite smile and a nod.
Jorge's expression was dark, and the people around him noticed. "Jorge, what's wrong?" someone asked.
Jorge calmed himself, suppressing the fury inside. "Nothing," he replied.
As for Trevor, Jorge simply returned a slight nod in response.
Jorge wanted to stand up for Wynn, but he had no grounds to do so.
So, even though he felt sorry for her, he could only remain silent—just like when he had noticed the ambiguous tension between Trevor and Celeste earlier.
But if Trevor really went too far—
Jorge's expression grew heavier as his gaze shifted to Wynn.
Wynn was smiling at that moment, as if she hadn't noticed Trevor's thoughts at all.
But, how could that be possible?
Wynn was more sensitive to every move between Trevor and Celeste than he was. So, not only had she noticed Trevor's attention, but she'd seen it more clearly than Jorge.
Her hand tightened around her wine glass, her mechanical smile barely holding together.
Wynn had often attended banquets with Trevor before. She was no stranger to the feeling of standing among such important people.
But on such occasions, aside from the initial pleasantries, she had never had the standing to join their conversations—much less become the central figure of them.
Now, however, when she followed Trevor over, she saw Celeste standing there with ease, chatting and laughing.
Victor and the other business magnates openly showed their appreciation for her. Harold, an influential political figure, looked at Celeste with an almost paternal fondness.
Seeing this scene, Wynn suddenly felt that Celeste stood on equal footing with Victor, Harold, and the other heavyweights.
She wasn't a mere ornamental figure like Wynn had been at Trevor's side.
Half of YodaVision belonged to Celeste.
And with her current status, even if she wasn't fully on par with Victor and Harold yet, she already had earned the right to sit at the table with them and discuss real business.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
Why am i reading this novel still? In what hope, seriously? To have Trevor regret his choices? To get some clarity or closure on so many gaps this novel offers? To have Shaws & Lockets ever face repercussions? To get clarity on Celeste's mother life? Because seriously, 720+ chapters gone by and from last 350 chapter - there has been no significant progress, the story has been playing around in loops. This is just sad...
No updates still😡😡😡😡😡😡...

No updates???...
Hello author, are u experiencing writer’s block and don’t know what to write and so u are dragging the story? Please we are loosing interest. It is more like a diary update. Why should always the evil win? It’s really sad to see Celeste being continuously provoked without her doing anything. Please add some new plot saying the accident and rescue are actually Wynn’s plans. Please make Trevor n Jordyn realise the worth of celeste even if they are not together. Please make Trevor apologise to Celeste for his neglect. Or if Trevor is plotting a revenge against Lockets n Spencers for their betrayal then atleast show that. Please do something before everyone loose interest n stop reading....
What a small chapters 😑😑😑...
...why is it still the same old loop? C'mon add something new please. I'd really hate to drop this book after following for so long...
