There were so many profitable projects, and yet they couldn't get a piece of it—all they could do was watch. Luther was just envious, though; he wasn't really complaining.
After all, as long as Trevor and Wynn's relationship stayed solid, there'd be plenty of chances to make money later. There was no need to rush.
Everyone there understood that.
Besides, there was something else they were more concerned about now.
From the news reports, it seemed Trevor still had a lot to handle and wouldn't be able to return home anytime soon.
Patricia couldn't help feeling a little worried. "Trevor... He won't miss the end of the decision period, will he?"
Even Lilian frowned, which was rare.
She wasn't exactly panicking, but dragging things out like this wasn't good for them either.
Erin also couldn't help asking Wynn, "Wynn, what did Trevor say?"
Snapping back to her senses, Wynn answered honestly, "He said he's not sure."
The people from both the Lockets and the Shaws grew even more uneasy.
Finally, Patricia sighed. "Once he's done with work, he'll definitely rush back as soon as he can. Hopefully... He makes it in time. There's still half a month left, after all."
Wynn lowered her eyes and said nothing.
…
Since Trevor wouldn't be returning anytime soon, Celeste figured he'd reach out when things settled to finalize their divorce.
So, in the days that followed, she just went about her usual routine.
Besides, work had been ridiculously busy lately. She barely had time to think about anything else.
By the time she caught her breath, another week had already flown by. Now there was only about a week left before the decision period ended.
Celeste glanced at the time, then at Jordyn, who was lying by the bed playing a game.
She called out, "Jo."
Jordyn looked up. "Mom? What is it?"
The same line again.
Celeste put down her phone and didn't reply.
Trevor didn't message her again either.
After that, they didn't contact each other at all.
Maybe he really was too busy with work. The following days passed in silence between them.
Until the very last day of their divorce decision period.
When Matthias saw Celeste show up at the office early in the morning, he knew immediately she hadn't finalized her divorce with Trevor yet.
Seeing how down she looked, Matthias couldn't help but try to comfort her. "There's still time. Maybe he'll fly back this afternoon."
Celeste hoped so too.
But as the day dragged on, she checked her phone over and over again. By the time the clock hit five, there was still not a single message from Trevor.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
I feel like reading the novel from everyone else's perspective, but the main characters. There has never been a glimpse on Trevor's side of thoughts or intentions. He feels like a ghost in this whole storyline. Although i am glad that Mathias revealed the truth about Celeste, but it still feels empty without main character's thoughts or feelings or voices being shared....
Wynn's reputation is over. I read all these chapters for this moment... I'm really glad that Matthias finally said everything at once. All thanks to the fool Quinton...
So we're going to keep going in circles atp, nothing was revealed that we didn't already know,I mean I would've at least liked to see Trevor's reaction to finding out his wife is the co-owner and coder to CUAP,find out who drugged them.Whats happening with the military blacksite, how come Celeste is so quiet she never stands up for herself. All we're getting is reaction's from side character's who don't matter...
Yes.. I'm looking forward to the upcoming chapters......
I don't really understand the writer. Why are Trevor and Celeste silent now? Isn't it about them?...
Who the helly is georgette 😆...
Alas..the truth that has been buried since…is prevailing....
I just love how tables have turned....
About time… now where’s Trevor, Harvey’s and the others public shame???...
After this moment, the day of the downfall of the Shaw and Lockett families began....
