Ivan really had been getting close to Winchester Group lately, and he was actually planning a collaboration. He had no idea how Trevor found out.
But it wasn't something he needed to hide.
Seeing that Trevor was willingly opening a topic, he simply answered, "Yes."
From there, the two of them started talking about business.
Meanwhile, Martha, Celeste, and Adeline were chatting about other things.
And while Trevor discussed work with Ivan, he still took care of Jordyn—cutting up food for her, wiping her hands, the usual.
But Jordyn was pretty clingy with Celeste these days. She actually wanted her mother to take care of her instead. She brushed off Trevor's hand as he tried to roll up her sleeve.
"I want Mom to do it."
Trevor paused, laughed lightly, and looked over at Celeste.
Seeing Jordyn hold her arm out toward her, Celeste had no choice but to roll up the other sleeve for her.
Jordyn immediately grinned with satisfaction.
Watching this whole scene, the others couldn't help but feel... It actually looked kind of harmonious.
Even so, Trevor and Celeste still didn't say a single word to each other the entire meal.
But overall, the meal went surprisingly well, and in the end, Trevor still paid.
Ivan frowned. "Mr. Fleming, I said I'd treat. Why—"
"It's fine. You can treat next time," Trevor interrupted.
Next time...
Sure, Trevor had been polite while chatting during dinner, but Ivan didn't believe there would be a "next time" where they'd all sit together again.
He was certain Trevor was just being courteous.
After all, the man definitely didn't care about the cost of one meal. And with Martha present, even if he disliked the Rodriguez family, he'd still maintain superficial politeness.
But within seconds, they all acted as if they hadn't seen each other and looked away.
Everyone stared, stunned.
"M-Mr. Fleming?"
Trevor nodded slightly, lowering his gaze to the woman in his arms.
Under everyone's shocked eyes, he picked her up bridal-style.
"I'll take her upstairs to rest. You all continue."

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
