The Lockets and the Shaws watched in the direction Celeste had left, then got into their car and drove off as well.
Wynn had urgent matters to handle, so she didn't go with them to the Fleming family's hot spring resort.
When they got home, Wynn also happened to be back.
Just as Wynn was about to speak after seeing them return, Ruby said, "Wynn, guess who we ran into at the hotel these past two days?"

The others didn't comment when Ruby brought this up to Wynn. After all, they truly didn't take Celeste seriously at all.
Because of that, none of them noticed how Wynn's fingers suddenly tightened around her cup when she heard the news.

Going to the military base this time, Celeste did not run into Caleb again.
The matter, despite being urgent, was resolved surprisingly quickly. On top of that, Celeste stayed an extra day to help Zachary take care of other work.
She originally thought she would have to wait several more days until after her divorce mandatory waiting period with Trevor ended before she could finish everything.

Once she returned home, the very first thing she did was send Trevor a message.
Linda, equally shocked, blurted out, "Exactly! Last time, he already failed to divorce that bitch because of work, and now it's happening again? Can't Trev adjust his schedule even a little?"
Lennox wasn't happy either, but Trevor was already on the plane. So, what could she say?
She could only sigh helplessly. "It must be something urgent."
The others were thinking the same.
After all, in their eyes, Trevor was very eager to divorce Celeste.
Ruby sighed, "Let's just hope Trevor can settle his work quickly. It better not turn out like last time—"

I think there wont be a closure anytime soon, with the speed with which the story is flowing. New characters are being introduced, sides and opinions are being formed blindly - yet no one is ever discussing anything with each other. This is by far the most frustrating novel i have read and yet, come back for an update in a hope that there may be something in reader's favor now. Sigh! There is nothing. If author doesn't want to take Celeste Trevor route, then let Celeste move on like Trevor has. Enough with this beating around the bush....

I can't even believe there are almost 800 chapters and absolutely no story line advances. Basically Trevor is absolute trash and deserves to be mocked and scorned because of his cheating nature, bringing his mistress around like he's single and flaunting the billions he spends on her as if he is not already married for 7 years. Celeste deserves everyone to know her story and be free of this loser....

Why am i reading this novel still? In what hope, seriously? To have Trevor regret his choices? To get some clarity or closure on so many gaps this novel offers?
