Lilian and Patricia had no idea that Trevor's attitude toward Celeste had already changed.
Hearing that he had taken Celeste back to her room and still hadn't come out after so long, they were a bit surprised at first, but quickly dismissed it.
After all, they'd heard long ago that even though Trevor and Celeste had been married for years, they barely ever shared a room.
He had absolutely no interest in her.
So, even if he stayed in her room a little longer this time, none of them thought anything would happen between them.
Besides, with how deep Trevor's feelings were for Wynn, even if something did happen between him and Celeste tonight, Celeste still wouldn't shake his love for Wynn.
If that was the case, then what was there to worry about?
Seeing that Jacob seemed to be thinking the same thing, they didn't probe further into the matter between Trevor and Wynn.
…
The next morning, Celeste woke up and saw the messages Matthias had sent her.
It was only then that she learned what had happened the previous night.
She sat on the edge of the bed, trying to recall, but she had absolutely no impression of anything Matthias described.
What she did notice was that her whole body felt clean and fresh, her makeup had been removed, and she was already changed into comfortable sleepwear.
She replied to Matthias's message.
Matthias, already awake, called her as soon as he saw her reply. "How are you feeling? Head hurting?"
Celeste rubbed her temples. "Just a little. Still manageable."
"Good."
After checking on her, he couldn't help complaining, "What is Trevor doing? Even if he's not around, we at YodaVision have plenty of people who can look after you. Why is he inserting himself into your business?
She had just returned home when her phone rang.
It was Zachary.
At their previous dinner, he had mentioned that she would likely need to visit the military base this month. She'd been waiting for the notice for half a month now.
She didn't expect the call to come right before her and Trevor's divorce's mandatory waiting period ended.
After learning that Zachary's people were already on their way to the Rodriguez residence, Celeste sent Trevor a message.
"I'll be leaving for a business trip soon, and I probably won't make it back until a few days after the mandatory waiting period ends. I'll contact you the moment I return. Then we can go to the courthouse to finalize the divorce."
It took over half an hour before Trevor replied.
"Okay, got it."
Looking at his message, Celeste didn't reply. She simply put her phone back into her pocket.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
I feel like reading the novel from everyone else's perspective, but the main characters. There has never been a glimpse on Trevor's side of thoughts or intentions. He feels like a ghost in this whole storyline. Although i am glad that Mathias revealed the truth about Celeste, but it still feels empty without main character's thoughts or feelings or voices being shared....
Wynn's reputation is over. I read all these chapters for this moment... I'm really glad that Matthias finally said everything at once. All thanks to the fool Quinton...
So we're going to keep going in circles atp, nothing was revealed that we didn't already know,I mean I would've at least liked to see Trevor's reaction to finding out his wife is the co-owner and coder to CUAP,find out who drugged them.Whats happening with the military blacksite, how come Celeste is so quiet she never stands up for herself. All we're getting is reaction's from side character's who don't matter...
Yes.. I'm looking forward to the upcoming chapters......
I don't really understand the writer. Why are Trevor and Celeste silent now? Isn't it about them?...
Who the helly is georgette 😆...
Alas..the truth that has been buried since…is prevailing....
I just love how tables have turned....
About time… now where’s Trevor, Harvey’s and the others public shame???...
After this moment, the day of the downfall of the Shaw and Lockett families began....
