Hearing that, Trevor seemed as if he wanted to say something. After a brief pause, however, he said, "Alright."
No sooner had he finished speaking than Jacob pushed the door open and walked in.
After reporting on work matters, Jacob was about to leave when he heard Trevor say, "Please reschedule the lunch meeting."
Jacob was momentarily taken aback, but when he saw Wynn sitting at the side, he immediately smiled. "Okay."
Hearing this, Wynn's mood gradually relaxed. She looked at Trevor, a trace of gentleness surfacing in her eyes.
That afternoon, Trevor and Wynn went out to have lunch together.
After the meal, Trevor still had other matters to attend to, so the two of them parted ways.
When Wynn returned to the company, Ruby couldn't hold back and immediately asked, "How did it go?"
Patricia and Lilian also looked over.
Wynn sat down. "It was fine. It felt no different from before."
Upon learning that Trevor had pushed aside his own arrangements for Wynn and, just like in the past, still placed her first, the Shaw family members were all extremely pleased.
Linda said smugly, "I knew it. Trev's heart still loves Wynn the most!"
Ruby was also smiling, though she couldn't help saying, "It's just a pity... If you had gone to see Trevor in the evening, that would've been even better."
That way, she and Trevor would have had more time together. With emotions deepening and affection growing, their relationship would warm up much faster.
Everyone else understood what Ruby meant.
In fact, not only Lilian and Patricia, but even Wynn herself had thought of this on her way back.
It was just that—
Ruby then smiled again. "It's fine. I can tell Trevor still cares a lot about you. There will be plenty of chances like this in the future. There's no need to rush."
The others thought the same.
At that moment, the gloom that had hung over the Shaw family for days was completely swept away. Not only Linda, but even Patricia and Lilian wore noticeably more smiles than they had in the past few days.

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
