After hesitating for a moment, Wynn finally explained the purpose of her call to Trevor.
Trevor said, "I think I did hear about a project like this before. It's already time for the bidding? Which companies are participating?"
Wynn told him the names of some of the companies involved in the bid.
Among them were major corporations such as Velotra and DataWing.
Naturally, YodaVision was included as well.
Hearing this, Trevor said, "With so many big companies involved, it'll be almost impossible for Locket Tech to win."
Wynn knew that very well.
Not only her—Harvey and the others all knew it too.
But if he could help refine the presentation, smooth certain connections, and provide some level of backing, there would still be a chance of securing the project.
Of course, that was not something Wynn could say outright.
And the reason she brought up the bid, even if she didn't spell it out, Trevor understood perfectly well.
So, she only said, "That's true, but the family still really hopes to win this project..."
"I see... I've been quite busy these past couple of days. I'll have someone go over the proposal later."
Hearing this, Wynn finally relaxed a little. "Okay."
After a pause, she added, "Thank you, Trevor."
Trevor still had matters to deal with, so they didn't talk much before hanging up.
When the Locket family learned that Trevor had agreed to send someone to help, they all let out a sigh of relief.
Not long after, someone from Trevor's side contacted them. After reviewing the proposal and, with Harvey's approval, making some revisions, they adjusted certain technical and financial aspects.
After these changes, the proposal did look more competitive than before.
On the day of the bid, Wynn attended together with Harvey.
As soon as they arrived, they saw Celeste.
Their gazes met, but none of them spoke.
However, after learning that the Locket family was paying attention to this project, Celeste deliberately made time to prepare a proposal.
She withdrew her gaze.
Just as the Locket family had anticipated, not long after the bidding began, their expressions darkened.
Faced with so many major corporations, their advantages were simply too limited.

I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
