Miles received a phone call.
After glancing at the caller ID, he briefly greeted Wynn and the others, then told Trevor not to wait for him before turning to the other side to take the call.
Only after Miles had walked some distance away did Trevor speak. "You're eating here too?"
Wynn replied. "Mm. When did you get back?"
"Last night."
"Still not done with work?"
The elevator arrived. Trevor entered together with Wynn and the others. "Not yet."
At that moment, a message came in on his phone. He nodded slightly at Wynn as a gesture, replied to two messages, and by then the elevator had already reached the ground floor.
After exiting the elevator, Wynn looked at him and asked, "Are you free tonight?"
"I already have plans," Trevor said.
Wynn smiled faintly. "Next time then."
"Okay."
As soon as Trevor finished speaking, his phone rang again. He said to Wynn, "I still have something to handle. I need to head back to the company first."
"Alright," Wynn replied.
Trevor greeted Lilian, then turned and left.
Although Linda was usually impulsive, she hadn't dared to say a single word while Trevor was there.
Watching his retreating figure, her heart felt uncomfortable, and she murmured, "Trev... He's so cold."
It was the first time she had ever seen Trevor treat Wynn with such indifference.
So indifferent that anyone who didn't know better would think they were merely strangers who had met a few times.
Wasn't it also the first time Lilian and the others had seen Trevor treat Wynn like this?
From Trevor's cold attitude just now, it was as if things between him and Wynn had truly come to an end.
Lilian lowered her gaze and said calmly, "Let's go back first."
"Alright, see you next week."
Just as Celeste turned around, she saw someone in the distance waving excitedly at her and shouting, "Mom!"
She lifted her gaze and saw that it was Jordyn, and standing right behind Jordyn was Trevor.
She hadn't known that Trevor would also be there.
Her steps paused almost imperceptibly.
Then, as if nothing had happened, she continued walking toward them.
The others from YodaVision also heard that shout of "Mom." When they turned back, they realized the little girl seemed to be calling Celeste.
However, they were too far away to see Jordyn's face clearly.
They hesitated for a moment, about to get into the car, when someone with sharp eyes noticed the man standing behind Jordyn. "That... Is that Ms. Rodriguez's husband?"

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
