The next day, Wynn took Jordyn out to play.
They went to places that Jordyn wanted to visit, and Jordyn had a great time.
By evening, Wynn asked, "Jo, there's a bonfire party here tonight, and there are other activities tomorrow morning too. Do you want to stay here for another night?"
Since Trevor and Celeste were both too busy to spend time with her, Jordyn had actually been quite bored. Hearing this, she immediately nodded. "Sure!"
"Then I'll let your dad know."
"Okay."
Wynn picked up her phone. She originally planned to call Trevor, but just as she was about to dial, she changed it to a text message instead.
The message was sent very quickly.
Recently, Trevor rarely answered her calls, and even when she texted him, he seldom replied. Even if he did, it was usually after a long delay.
She thought this time would be the same.
Unexpectedly, not long after she sent the message, Trevor replied, "Okay, I got it. Thanks."
Seeing his reply, Wynn paused, then sent another message. "Still busy?"
This time, it took quite a while before Trevor replied. "Yeah."
When Wynn saw his response and noticed that he didn't ask where she and Jordyn had gone or whether they had fun, she knew that although he replied, it was perfunctory and had a distant attitude.
Looking at the screen for a long moment, she actually wanted to ask whether he had time tomorrow night, but in the end, she didn't send it.
Instead, she typed, "Jo and I are going to eat first."
"Yeah," Trevor replied.
"Jo and I will probably stay here and have fun for another day. Do you have time to come over and have a meal together tomorrow?"
Trevor didn't give a definite answer. He only said, "I'll see if I can make some time. If I can, I'll let you know then."
Jordyn replied disappointedly, "Okay then..."
They chatted for a while longer. When they were about to hang up, Trevor politely said to Wynn, "Thanks for taking care of Jo these past two days."
Wynn smiled and replied, "It's no trouble at all. Having Jo accompany me on this trip makes me very happy too."

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
