After the meal ended, Jorge said to Matthias, "Mr. Yoder, could I have a word with you?"
The incident where Jorge had run into Celeste dining out with Trevor and his daughter some time ago was something Celeste had never mentioned to Matthias, so Matthias truly didn't know what Jorge wanted to talk to him about.
He didn't like Jorge, that was true, but he still had to give Theodore some respect.
He nodded. After moving a little distance away from the others, he asked, "What do you want to say?"
Jorge hesitated.
He didn't dislike Matthias. He simply didn't like Celeste.
On the contrary, he actually admired Matthias.
That was why he didn't want Matthias to continue being deceived by Celeste.
But Matthias clearly liked Celeste very much, and their relationship seemed good.
What Jorge said would most likely not be believed and might even deepen the misunderstanding between the two of them.
Still, after hesitating for a moment, he spoke directly. "Some time ago, when I was out having a meal, I ran into Ms. Rodriguez, and... Mr. Fleming and his daughter. They looked very close."
Hearing this, Matthias finally understood Jorge's purpose.
He raised an eyebrow. "Oh? Is that so?"
To Jorge, this reaction meant disbelief or perhaps even that Matthias thought he was deliberately trying to stir up trouble.
Jorge pressed his lips together.
Matthias's reaction was more or less within his expectations.
He continued, "Actually, it wasn't just that one time. Before that, I'd also run into Ms. Rodriguez and Mr. Fleming behaving intimately."
After saying this, and without waiting for Matthias to respond, he added, "No matter how you view me, even if I dislike Celeste, I don't think I'm so despicable or morally corrupt as to deliberately sabotage your relationship. I'm just stating what I saw. As for whether you believe it or not, that's your business."
With that, he said nothing more. He nodded once at Matthias, then turned and left.
He knew there was a high chance Matthias wouldn't believe him. After all, he had no concrete proof.
But he didn't expect Matthias not to take his words to heart at all, showing not the slightest doubt toward Celeste.

Trevor hadn't left yet either.
He greeted Matthias again. Just as he opened his mouth, his phone rang.
He casually answered the call.
No one knew what was said on the other end, but he immediately replied, "Alright, I understand."
After hanging up, he exchanged a few more polite words with Matthias, and then everyone got into their respective cars and left.

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
