"And also, later give your mom a call and ask if she has time tonight."
Jordyn replied, "Okay, got it."
Jordyn was at the amusement park playing games.
After hanging up, she planned to call Celeste once she was done, but she got carried away and forgot. By the time she remembered, it was already past four in the afternoon.
She hurriedly called Celeste. "Mom, do you have time to have dinner together tonight?"
Celeste was still at Fleming Group, discussing data analysis with others.
Hearing this, she assumed Jordyn meant dinner just between the two of them.
Her eyes stayed on the screen as she answered casually, "Yes. Send me the address later. I'll head over once I'm done with work."
"Okay!"
Celeste said, "I'm still busy; I need to hang up first. We'll talk tonight, alright?"
Jordyn had wanted to share her day with Celeste, but hearing that, she could only reply, "Okay. Bye, Mom."
After hanging up, Celeste continued talking about work, completely unaware that several people present were left stunned by what they had just heard.
Most people at InnovaTech and YodaVision knew that Celeste had been married before and had a child. But among those at Fleming Group who worked with her, this was the first time they'd heard of it.
Someone couldn't help asking, "Ms. Rodriguez... you have a child?"
Celeste didn't look up. She gave a light nod. "Mm."
Everyone else became dumbfounded.
She had a child!
But as far as they knew, Matthias wasn't married. So Celeste's child... had nothing to do with Matthias?
Seeing that the others weren't particularly shocked by the news, the Fleming Group staff realized they must have already known about it.
When Celeste arrived at the destination and was about to get out of the car, she saw Trevor and Jordyn.
She paused, but still got out of the car.
When Jordyn saw her, she waved excitedly. "Mom!"
Seeing them, Celeste froze for a moment and almost immediately understood what was going on.
She had thought Jordyn had called her on her own.
In an instant, her steps halted where she stood.
Everyone from the Fleming family, including Martha, looked equally shocked when they saw her.
They hadn't expected Celeste to be there as well.

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
