After looking through them, Matthias curled his lips. "Having a meal together doesn't prove anything. Maybe they just ran into each other by chance and ended up eating together."
He didn't believe Queenie and Lincoln would relent so quickly.
If Wynn had a completely clean background, that would be one thing. But given the questionable way her mother had secured her position in the Lockets, he didn't believe Queenie and Lincoln would overlook it so easily.
Celeste said, "When I had lunch with Beck earlier today, he mentioned it too. He said they've already agreed to the relationship."
Matthias was momentarily at a loss for words.
To be honest, if he were in Queenie and Lincoln's position, he would probably soften his stance as well, even if he didn't like Wynn.
He snorted, then added, "Since the Fleming family has relented, your divorce should go through without any issues. What about your daughter? Have they told her yet?"
"Probably not. But that's not something I need to worry about."
"You're right."
Not wanting to dwell on such frustrating matters, Matthias raised his glass and clinked it with hers again before changing the subject.
…
Over the next two days, Celeste went to work as usual.
On Friday afternoon, she received a call from Jordyn, saying that she would come over to the Rodriguez residence that evening to accompany her.
After Celeste agreed, Jordyn hesitated for a moment before adding, "But tomorrow morning, I'm going out with Dad and the others, so I'll have to leave in the morning."
Celeste wasn't surprised.
"Okay, I got it," she said calmly.
Some newly generated data had issues, so Celeste had to work overtime. By the time she got home, it was already past eight in the evening.
Jordyn had genuinely wanted to spend time with Celeste. But seeing that her mother came home so late, she felt a little disappointed and went over to hug her.

"To be with them?"
"Probably. She said they're going out."

"Perhaps."
After her computer booted up, Celeste ended the topic and shifted the conversation to the data.
They became so absorbed in the discussion that she didn't even notice Jordyn calling out to her after finishing her shower.

After calling out once and getting no response, she had no choice but to call again. "Mom. I'm done with my shower."
Only then did Celeste snap back and turn around. "Okay."

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
Why am i reading this novel still? In what hope, seriously? To have Trevor regret his choices? To get some clarity or closure on so many gaps this novel offers? To have Shaws & Lockets ever face repercussions? To get clarity on Celeste's mother life? Because seriously, 720+ chapters gone by and from last 350 chapter - there has been no significant progress, the story has been playing around in loops. This is just sad...
No updates still😡😡😡😡😡😡...

Y no updates??? 😡😡...
No updates???...
Hello author, are u experiencing writer’s block and don’t know what to write and so u are dragging the story? Please we are loosing interest. It is more like a diary update. Why should always the evil win? It’s really sad to see Celeste being continuously provoked without her doing anything. Please add some new plot saying the accident and rescue are actually Wynn’s plans. Please make Trevor n Jordyn realise the worth of celeste even if they are not together. Please make Trevor apologise to Celeste for his neglect. Or if Trevor is plotting a revenge against Lockets n Spencers for their betrayal then atleast show that. Please do something before everyone loose interest n stop reading....
What a small chapters 😑😑😑...
...why is it still the same old loop? C'mon add something new please. I'd really hate to drop this book after following for so long...
