When Matthias caught him being attentive toward Celeste, Kieran didn't look the slightest bit embarrassed. Instead, he openly greeted Matthias before turning and heading back to work.
Matthias closed the office door behind him, sat down on the couch, and said, "Since he found out that you tend to drink a few cups of coffee to stay alert when busy, he had spent quite some time learning about it. Apparently, he just 'graduated'."
Celeste froze for a moment.
Seeing her reaction, Matthias smiled. "Are you touched?"
"Not really." She was reminded of something from the past.
As the thought crossed her mind, she unconsciously picked up the coffee beside her and took a sip.
When Kieran had brought it in earlier, she could already tell from the rich aroma that it wouldn't be bad. But once it touched her lips, she realized it was even more impressive than she'd expected.
She understood coffee. With just one sip, she could feel the effort Kieran had put into it. That kind of effort was probably no less than what she did before…
Unaware of what she was thinking, Matthias asked, "So? How are you now? Feeling better?"
He hadn't forgotten that day when she had asked him out for a drink, but was taken away by someone Zachary sent.
Celeste set the coffee cup down and came back to her senses. "I'm fine now."
Seeing that she didn't seem to be pretending, Matthias finally asked, "What happened?"
Celeste briefly explained the situation.
Matthias already knew that Trevor had brought Wynn to meet Lincoln and Queenie.
After hearing about the injustice and concern Celeste and her family felt, he paused before saying, "Sometimes, the world really is unfair. But your grandmother isn't wrong either. Dragging the divorce with Trevor may not be good for you.
"As for the Lockets and Shaws, I believe they'll get what they deserve eventually, even though it may be slow."
"Mm," Celeste replied.
After wrapping up her work, she contacted Jordyn's driver, and the two of them went out for dinner.
Jordyn wanted to try a lot of things, but since it was just the two of them, they couldn't order much. So, quite a few of her favorite dishes didn't make it to the table.
She couldn't help saying, "If Dad were here, it'd be perfect…"
Celeste didn't respond.
After dinner, as they were about to leave the restaurant, Matthias sent her a message. So Celeste opened it.
It was a photo. In it, Trevor, Martha, and the members of the Lockets and Shaws were all seated together in a private dining room.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
Yes. Now continue telling everyone that Celeste started Yodavision and is Zachary’s student and the only reason she stopped was because she got married...
I hope the story continues in the direction that we all are rooting for. Proud of you Matthias!! 🤩...
Will Matthias still say something? I don't know what he'll say, but I think it will probably be about Trevor....
Applause for Matthias but I’d love to see Celeste stand up for herself too and all this is going on with Jo right there, if she really doesn’t care what people think about her she should take Jo out of there. They can all continue their shenanigans...
Author, please increase chapter length at least. It took me just a minute to read two chapters 😭. Also, W Matthias 🥹...
Matthias grabbing his chance and running his mouth as long as no one stops him. King 👑...
Matthias, you dropped this 👑...
Matthias, man, I love you 😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣...
Wait do even Trevor’s friends didn’t know her relationship with Wynn? Did Trevor know?...
The uncovering of truth feels like a kid is peeling an onion layer by layer at extremely slow speed.. Truly exhausting...
