Matthias sent another message right after that.
"So, Mrs. Fleming Senior has agreed to their relationship too? That can't be, right? Or did Trevor deliberately arrange this meeting to get her approval?"
Celeste didn't know either. But whatever it was, it didn't really matter. What mattered was Trevor's determination to bring Wynn into the family.
Even though Martha didn't agree, it wouldn't shake his resolve.
Matthias had come to the same conclusion as well.
"First, it was Mr. and Mrs. Fleming; now it's Mrs. Fleming Senior. Trevor has really gone all out to make them accept Wynn."
Jordyn was still thinking about going out together with Trevor and Celeste.
The next morning, she was about to call Trevor right after washing up when his call came in first.
"You're awake? I've sent someone to pick you up. We're going out later."
Jordyn's eyes lit up. "We're going out? Where to?"
Then she suddenly thought of something and asked, "You're just picking me up? How about Mom?"
"Your mom's busy."
"Okay…"
Celeste had just come upstairs when she hung up.
"Mom, Dad just called. He's sending someone to pick me up. He said you're busy and can't come. What are you busy with?"
Celeste did have plans that day. But she hadn't coordinated anything with Trevor.
Since Jordyn asked, she said, "I'm going to the hospital to visit your grandmother later. After that, I'm accompanying a friend to buy something important."
Her outfit looked understated at first glance, but many recognized that her gown and bracelet were worth a fortune.
When others approached her, she responded with a calm and composed smile. She didn't slow the slightest hint of being overwhelmed by the attention.
Celeste and Matthias watched silently.
Just then, two more people arrived.
The moment Matthias saw them, he curled his lips. "What bad luck. I wouldn't have come if I'd known it'd be such a 'full house' tonight."
Celeste only gave a faint smile and said nothing.
The newcomers were none other than Jorge and Xavier, whom they hadn't seen for some time.

I think there wont be a closure anytime soon, with the speed with which the story is flowing. New characters are being introduced, sides and opinions are being formed blindly - yet no one is ever discussing anything with each other. This is by far the most frustrating novel i have read and yet, come back for an update in a hope that there may be something in reader's favor now. Sigh! There is nothing. If author doesn't want to take Celeste Trevor route, then let Celeste move on like Trevor has. Enough with this beating around the bush....

I can't even believe there are almost 800 chapters and absolutely no story line advances. Basically Trevor is absolute trash and deserves to be mocked and scorned because of his cheating nature, bringing his mistress around like he's single and flaunting the billions he spends on her as if he is not already married for 7 years. Celeste deserves everyone to know her story and be free of this loser....
Very slow in updating chapters😔.... Tat too only one... It vil be useful if updates have 5 chap a day or atleast 3 per day...

Why am i reading this novel still? In what hope, seriously? To have Trevor regret his choices? To get some clarity or closure on so many gaps this novel offers? To have Shaws & Lockets ever face repercussions? To get clarity on Celeste's mother life? Because seriously, 720+ chapters gone by and from last 350 chapter - there has been no significant progress, the story has been playing around in loops. This is just sad...
