"You probably know why I called. Your latest paper caused quite a stir right after publication. Congratulations," he said with a smile.
"Thank you."
Matthias was genuinely happy for her and had just wanted to congratulate her personally. They didn't chat for long before hanging up.
Celeste then went through the rest of her missed calls and messages, replying one by one.
Soon after, Beck, Kieran, Caleb, Bryson, and others all called her to offer their congratulations to her. Celeste thanked each of them politely.
Then reporters from major media outlets reached out, wanting to interview her. She spent quite some time speaking with them and arranging possible schedules.
It took her more than an hour to finish the arrangements.
Jordyn had woken up earlier than Celeste. When she saw her mother busy with the calls, she quietly stayed out of the way.
Although she had been staying at the Rodriguez residence these past few days, Trevor still called her every day—as he did now.
However, such doubts were in the minority. As Celeste had appeared frequently in public over the past year, her capabilities had gradually earned widespread recognition.
Most people didn't believe that Matthias or Zachary would risk their own reputations and futures for the sake of a woman.
The Lockets and Shaws knew of Celeste's capabilities. But that didn't mean they could accept it.
Their resentment only deepened as they watched her rise higher in the industry while backed by Matthias and Zachary.
"If Wynn had come back earlier and not missed the chance to join YodaVision, everything Celeste has now would've been hers."
"Exactly! Wynn has a much higher starting point than Celeste," Linda chimed in.
And it wasn't just the Lockets and the Shaws having such thoughts. Quentin Yallop, a former employee of YodaVision, had the same thought.
His expression turned extremely unpleasant looking at Celeste's newly published paper.

Somehow i am relieved today to see no updates than to be disappointed with yet another irritating show of everyone else's POV but the main characters...
I know everyone will not agree with me and I also know that Trevor is a trash and all but I want Trevor and Celeste to get back together. They should be the end game and for that to happen Trevor should start working hard for that second chance....
So we're going to go on for another 15 chapter's about jordan's temper tantrum with neither of the parents asking her what's wrong..stop milking it. The only reason i'm still reading is because i cant leave a book unfinished. What I'm pissed about is the book started with promise and turned into a circus....
The story should just come to an end and the writer should give their reader the closure they deserve. There's no point in keeping the story going. It's been the same since the start. Not has changed. The initial story plot was, that Celeste and Trevor are getting devorce and still after 800 + chapter, they are still heading for a devorce....
Don’t Shaws and Lockets reflect ever on themselves? Every difficult situation, they look forward to Wynn to ask for Trevor to help. Initially the focus of the novel was on how Wynn is so accomplished blah blah and now - she is just a useless person, incapable of anything. Irritating storyline...
I'm starting to get bored and I can't predict exactly where the story is headed....
