Celeste also helped to persuade Martha before she finally agreed to go home and rest.
Beck and Miles hadn't left yet. It was just that when Celeste arrived, one of them had stepped out to answer a phone call, while the other was arranging for lunch to be delivered to the hospital.
So, when they came back, they happened to overhear Celeste persuading Martha. Celeste only noticed Beck and Miles after talking to Martha.
Seeing Beck's gaze land on her, she simply gave him a small nod as a greeting.
After Martha went to the restroom and Jordyn returned to the hospital room to collect her belongings, Trevor finally said to Celeste, "I'll leave Grandma in your hands."
Celeste just responded with a faint hum. Then, without saying anything more, she went into the hospital room to help Jordyn pack up her things.
Miles and Beck were silently observing the calm exchange between them.
A moment later, Celeste left the hospital together with Jordyn while supporting Martha.
Watching the elevator door slowly close, Miles finally turned to Trevor. "She really does care a lot about your grandma."
When Trevor called Celeste earlier, both he and Beck were there. They knew that after Trevor made his request, Celeste had agreed almost immediately.
And when she had come to the hospital, all her concern was directed toward Martha. Her attitude toward Trevor was distant and indifferent. It was the kind of politeness one might show only because he was the grandson of an elder she cared deeply about.
Overall, Celeste was actually very clear-cut when it came to separating gratitude from grudges.
Beck said nothing, but he could tell too.
There was no love left between Trevor and Celeste. Whenever they interacted now, everything was calm and restrained.
No conflict. No emotion.
By the time Celeste, Martha, and Jordyn returned to the Fleming manor, Peter had already instructed the staff to prepare lunch. But Martha had no appetite at all and barely ate anything.
Betty had also heard about Lincoln's accident and hurried over to the manor.
She and Martha were around the same age and had gone through many things in life together, so they were able to empathize with each other better.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
Why am i reading this novel still? In what hope, seriously? To have Trevor regret his choices? To get some clarity or closure on so many gaps this novel offers? To have Shaws & Lockets ever face repercussions? To get clarity on Celeste's mother life? Because seriously, 720+ chapters gone by and from last 350 chapter - there has been no significant progress, the story has been playing around in loops. This is just sad...
No updates still😡😡😡😡😡😡...

Y no updates??? 😡😡...
No updates???...
Hello author, are u experiencing writer’s block and don’t know what to write and so u are dragging the story? Please we are loosing interest. It is more like a diary update. Why should always the evil win? It’s really sad to see Celeste being continuously provoked without her doing anything. Please add some new plot saying the accident and rescue are actually Wynn’s plans. Please make Trevor n Jordyn realise the worth of celeste even if they are not together. Please make Trevor apologise to Celeste for his neglect. Or if Trevor is plotting a revenge against Lockets n Spencers for their betrayal then atleast show that. Please do something before everyone loose interest n stop reading....
What a small chapters 😑😑😑...
...why is it still the same old loop? C'mon add something new please. I'd really hate to drop this book after following for so long...
