So, Narcissa still patiently continued speaking with Candice even though she knew that Celeste was intentionally making things difficult for her.

Narcissa knew there was no point in saying more. So, she simply said, "Then, I'll come again another day."

After that, she called Wynn and asked whether she had Celeste's number.

Wynn replied, "No."

Narcissa then asked, "Would it be convenient for you to ask Trevor for it?"

Wynn knew why she was looking for Celeste. "Of course."

After thanking her, Narcissa immediately dialed the number using her assistant's phone.

Celeste had already guessed she would try calling from a different number. So, she didn't answer her phone when she saw it was an unfamiliar number.

Narcissa didn't expect Celeste to be this guarded. So, she sent a text message instead.

"Ms. Rodriguez, this is Narcissa Lackspur. I have a collaboration proposal that I'd like to discuss with you. You may name any conditions you want. May I know when you will be available?"

Celeste saw the message, but she ignored it. She simply put her phone aside and continued working.

Seeing that there was no reply, Narcissa tried calling again.

Hearing this, Celeste replied, "Regarding that, you can contact my secretary directly. She'll make the arrangements according to my schedule."
