The next day, Celeste returned to YodaVision after sending Jordyn to school.
Not long after, she went to Fleming Group with Kieran and the rest of her team.
Unfortunately, they ran into Jorge and Quentin's group when they arrived at Fleming Group.
Jorge would at least politely greet Celeste when Matthias was around. But now that Matthias wasn't present, Jorge completely ignored her, acting as if he didn't know her, and directly entered the elevator first with Quentin and his team.
Quentin knew that YodaVision and Fleming Group had an ongoing collaboration project, but he didn't expect to run into Celeste.
However, he quickly looked away after a brief moment of surprise.
Celeste also acted as if she didn't know Jorge or Quentin, and entered another elevator with Kieran and her engineers. But they ran into each other again after they exited the elevator.
Since they were collaborating with Fleming Group on different projects, they were quickly led into separate meeting rooms by the staff to handle their respective work.
Celeste and her team stayed until the afternoon before leaving.
But, judging by the situation, Jorge's side had only recently started their cooperation with Fleming Group.
So, when Celeste's group left, Quentin and the others were still working.
His throat tightened, and his expression turned ugly as he gripped his coffee cup tightly.
"I almost dropped Mr. Robinson's laptop just now, so I panicked a little."
His colleague was just asking casually. So, he didn't press the issue further.
Quentin lowered his head. He slowly unlocked his phone while his colleague wasn't paying attention. Then he found a discreet angle and opened the photos on his phone.
It also meant that whoever took the photos had already encountered them in such "indecent" situations more than once.
He didn't understand it before, but now…

I think there wont be a closure anytime soon, with the speed with which the story is flowing. New characters are being introduced, sides and opinions are being formed blindly - yet no one is ever discussing anything with each other. This is by far the most frustrating novel i have read and yet, come back for an update in a hope that there may be something in reader's favor now. Sigh! There is nothing. If author doesn't want to take Celeste Trevor route, then let Celeste move on like Trevor has. Enough with this beating around the bush....

I can't even believe there are almost 800 chapters and absolutely no story line advances. Basically Trevor is absolute trash and deserves to be mocked and scorned because of his cheating nature, bringing his mistress around like he's single and flaunting the billions he spends on her as if he is not already married for 7 years. Celeste deserves everyone to know her story and be free of this loser....
Very slow in updating chapters😔.... Tat too only one... It vil be useful if updates have 5 chap a day or atleast 3 per day...
I am getting frustrated with story, what is the point in dragging this on? How come Celeste is always portrayed as the villain when she hasn’t done anything wrong? Get on with outing Wynn, I’m sick of her!...

Why am i reading this novel still? In what hope, seriously? To have Trevor regret his choices? To get some clarity or closure on so many gaps this novel offers? To have Shaws & Lockets ever face repercussions? To get clarity on Celeste's mother life? Because seriously, 720+ chapters gone by and from last 350 chapter - there has been no significant progress, the story has been playing around in loops. This is just sad...
