Celeste and Matthias always appeared to have an excellent relationship. So, Quentin had never imagined that Celeste would be involved with Trevor.
She had already taken so many things that rightfully belonged to Wynn, yet she still wasn't satisfied. Now she was even setting her sights on Wynn's boyfriend.
"Quentin, I'm talking to you. Why are you so distracted? And why do you look so upset?"

Celeste looked refined, quiet, and almost perfectly pleasant on the surface. Who would've imagined that the real her was so vile?
At the thought, Quentin's cold eyes filled with mockery. "What a convincing act," he thought.
The elevator arrived at the ground floor. Just as everyone was about to enter, someone suddenly called out, "Please wait."
Quentin paused the moment he heard the voice. Turning around, he saw exactly who he expected—Wynn hurrying toward the elevator.
When Wynn saw him, she smiled.
"I heard CodeFlux and Fleming Group were collaborating. I didn't expect to run into you here so soon—"
Before she could finish speaking, she spotted Celeste inside the elevator.
It was only then that Quentin came back to his senses. "No, I came yesterday too."
Then, thinking of something, he asked, "Are you here to see Mr. Fleming?"
Wynn smiled at the mention of Trevor. "Yes, he helped arrange a meeting for me."
"I see…"
As for the matter between him and Celeste…
Quentin snapped out of his thoughts.
A warmth spread through his heart after hearing her concern for him.

I think there wont be a closure anytime soon, with the speed with which the story is flowing. New characters are being introduced, sides and opinions are being formed blindly - yet no one is ever discussing anything with each other. This is by far the most frustrating novel i have read and yet, come back for an update in a hope that there may be something in reader's favor now. Sigh! There is nothing. If author doesn't want to take Celeste Trevor route, then let Celeste move on like Trevor has. Enough with this beating around the bush....

I can't even believe there are almost 800 chapters and absolutely no story line advances. Basically Trevor is absolute trash and deserves to be mocked and scorned because of his cheating nature, bringing his mistress around like he's single and flaunting the billions he spends on her as if he is not already married for 7 years. Celeste deserves everyone to know her story and be free of this loser....
Very slow in updating chapters😔.... Tat too only one... It vil be useful if updates have 5 chap a day or atleast 3 per day...

Why am i reading this novel still? In what hope, seriously? To have Trevor regret his choices? To get some clarity or closure on so many gaps this novel offers? To have Shaws & Lockets ever face repercussions? To get clarity on Celeste's mother life? Because seriously, 720+ chapters gone by and from last 350 chapter - there has been no significant progress, the story has been playing around in loops. This is just sad...
