Chapter 82
Beck looked at Trevor, paused briefly, and then accepted the offered glass. “Thanks.”
The two clinked their glasses and started chatting while sipping their drinks.

After a while, Trevor gave Beck a second glance.
Beck raised his eyebrows. “What is it?”
Miles interjected, “You’re acting a little off today.”
Trevor chuckled softly, silently agreeing with Miles‘ observation.
Beck remained calm, and his tone sounded flat as he retorted, “Am I?”
Miles raised an eyebrow. “Aren’t you?”
Beck took a small sip of his drink without responding.
Just then, someone approached to greet them, cutting the conversation short.
After the person left, Beck checked the time. Worried that Shanice might be hungry, he was about to head over to her when she and Jordyn returned on their own.
“Uncle Beck, can I have one of those little cakes over there? Shanice asked, pointing at the dessert table.
Shanice tended to develop allergies, so there were many foods she couldn’t eat. Beck said, “Sit here, and I’ll get it for you.
“Okay,” Shanice replied obediently.
Jordyn, on the other hand, was used to being more independent. With her robust health, she could eat whatever she wanted. She grabbed a plate of food for herself and even asked Trevor, “Dad, do you want some?”
Trevor patted her head affectionately. “No, thanks,”
The two kids sat nearby, eating, Wynn, who had found something she liked, shared it with Jordyn.
Jordyn took it happily. “Thank you, Wynn.”
Shanice looked up at Wynn with curiosity and then turned to Jordyn, asking, “Jo, isn’t this lady your mother?”
The question brought an abrupt silence to the room.
Jordyn froze for a moment before shaking her head. “No.”
Shanice asked cautiously, “So, you don’t have a mother either?”
Jordyn shook her head again. “No, I do have a mother.”
Later, the yacht staff handed out souvenirs, and Shanice was immediately drawn to a crystal keychain. There were only two available, so she picked out both.
Jordyn also liked the keychains. Sering, that Shanice had taken both, she couldn’t help but ask, “Shanice, could you give me one? I want to give it to Wynu.”
Shanice hesitated, clearly reluctant. “I want to give one to my friend too.”

Thinking of Celeste, Shanice couldn’t help but share, “Today, Uncle Beck and my friend went kite flying with me. We also fished, rode bikes, and chased butterflies. She’s so beautiful–I know she’ll love this crystal keychain.”
At first, the adults hadn’t paid much attention to the children’s conversation, but when they heard this, Wynn, Miles, and Trevor all turned to look at Beck.
Miles was the first to speak, his tone teasing, “Beck, what’s going on? Or should I say, is something already going on?” Not waiting for an answer, he pressed on, “When did this start? How come you didn’t tell us anything? Right, Trevor?”
Trevor smiled but remained silent, clearly waiting to hear Beck’s explanation.
Beck’s expression remained neutral. “It was just a chance meeting.”
“Really?” Miles didn’t believe him. He suddenly remembered something and added, “So you had lunch together, too? That explains why you seemed so relaxed handling a kid on your own. Turns out you had help!”
Beck didn’t say anything, staying silent.
Trevor looked at him, then made a decisive remark. “You’re interested in her.”
Beck froze, his lips parting as if to speak, but he didn’t deny it in the end.
Wynn blinked, her smile fading slightly.
“No way, it’s true?” Miles exclaimed, shocked. He had only been teasing, never expecting it to be real. He quickly asked, “Who is she? Do we know her? Why haven’t you brought her to meet us yet?”

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
Another saviour debt?? Seriously?...
I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
My fav novel post us more chap per day...
