Celeste nodded. "I heard you."
Then she stood up and continued, "Please excuse me."
With that, she turned and walked away.
Jorge had wanted to say something, but seeing her reaction, he ultimately kept quiet.
He had considered the possibility that Celeste might accept his apology, or perhaps even mock him for it. But her reaction had been somewhat beyond his expectations.
She seemed to have accepted his apology. But that was all.
She had simply accepted his apology. And then... nothing.
Celeste quickly joined the others in their conversation as though nothing had happened.
Zachary, Celeste, and Matthias still had work to deal with, so after having dinner and some tea, they left not long afterward.
In the car, Celeste and Zachary were discussing some matters when her phone suddenly rang.
It was an unfamiliar number.
Celeste looked at the screen before answering.
"Cel, it's me. I—" It was Harvey.
The moment Celeste recognized his voice, she hung up without hesitation and blocked the number.
Matthias raised an eyebrow at her reaction. "Harvey?"
"Mm."
Matthias curled his lip. He could figure out Harvey's reason for calling without even trying.
Zachary didn't comment when he heard them talking about Harvey. It wasn't sure whether Zachary was simply unaware of what had happened the previous night.
After the call ended, Celeste and Zachary resumed their conversation.

Ruby was also panicking. "It seems they're planning to fight us to the end."

Erin's expression was grim as well.

Even the Fleming family wouldn't dare lay a hand on Celeste now.
The Shaws naturally understood this as well.
Ever since Patricia learned that Celeste was one of YodaVision's founders and also Zachary's student, she couldn't keep calm.
She had never imagined that Celeste would have achieved so much.
It wasn't just her. Even Lilian, Harvey, and even Wynn still found it difficult to fully process that fact.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
Somehow i am relieved today to see no updates than to be disappointed with yet another irritating show of everyone else's POV but the main characters...
I know everyone will not agree with me and I also know that Trevor is a trash and all but I want Trevor and Celeste to get back together. They should be the end game and for that to happen Trevor should start working hard for that second chance....
So we're going to go on for another 15 chapter's about jordan's temper tantrum with neither of the parents asking her what's wrong..stop milking it. The only reason i'm still reading is because i cant leave a book unfinished. What I'm pissed about is the book started with promise and turned into a circus....
The story should just come to an end and the writer should give their reader the closure they deserve. There's no point in keeping the story going. It's been the same since the start. Not has changed. The initial story plot was, that Celeste and Trevor are getting devorce and still after 800 + chapter, they are still heading for a devorce....
Don’t Shaws and Lockets reflect ever on themselves? Every difficult situation, they look forward to Wynn to ask for Trevor to help. Initially the focus of the novel was on how Wynn is so accomplished blah blah and now - she is just a useless person, incapable of anything. Irritating storyline...
I'm starting to get bored and I can't predict exactly where the story is headed....
Beck being the only actual adult to ask a child what’s wrong...
Can we get to the point its stagnant and I am unimpressed,I don't care about the company being in trouble nor the inner thoughts of others. Come on now....
Its a good thing both jordan parents are loaded. They going to spend a lot for Jordan therapy. 😂...
Wynn has no shame. And keeping the staff well beyond their work hours is an a-hole move....
