Since neither Celeste nor Velotra offered any way in, there was only one option left.
Linda bit her lip and asked, "It's been a full day since last night, but there's still been no word from Trev. Wynn, could it be that he—"
"No news is good news," Lilian said calmly.
"Exactly." After what had happened, Lennox had also rushed over from Youtopia.
"News of the trouble with the family business is all over the Internet. Everyone is watching us and Trevor. If he steps in to help us right now, it won't just affect him. The entire Fleming family will be dragged into it.
"So, after weighing everything, Trevor not helping us right now is actually the best way to minimize the damage."
Linda grew anxious. "But if he doesn't help us, won't our company really be finished? And we'll be buried in debt..."
Lennox glanced at her. "With Trevor around, what are you worried about?"
Linda stiffened. At that moment, even she understood what Lennox meant.
As long as Trevor was there, even if they lost Locket Tech, they wouldn't have to worry about getting back on their feet. After all, Trevor was famously generous when it came to Wynn.
The thought immediately sent a jolt through Linda, and she brightened up. However—
"But he hasn't replied to Wynn at all since last night. What if he really—" What if he really intended to break up with Wynn?
Lilian said calmly, "He's under a lot of pressure right now. Aside from work, there are probably plenty of people around Trevor urging him to break up with Wynn."
Lennox picked up where she left off. "And yet, if Trevor can withstand all that pressure and still stand by us, how is that not a good thing for us?"
It was only then that Linda and Ruby finally understood. They finally calmed down a little.

Lazarus cleared his throat. "Of course."
Since Celeste wasn't bringing it up, naturally, no one else dared to either. They hurriedly pretended to organize their things and headed into the conference room.

After a busy day, Celeste returned to the Rodriguez family home for dinner.
The moment she arrived, she noticed a car parked outside that clearly didn't belong to the Rodriguez family.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
Somehow i am relieved today to see no updates than to be disappointed with yet another irritating show of everyone else's POV but the main characters...
I know everyone will not agree with me and I also know that Trevor is a trash and all but I want Trevor and Celeste to get back together. They should be the end game and for that to happen Trevor should start working hard for that second chance....
So we're going to go on for another 15 chapter's about jordan's temper tantrum with neither of the parents asking her what's wrong..stop milking it. The only reason i'm still reading is because i cant leave a book unfinished. What I'm pissed about is the book started with promise and turned into a circus....
The story should just come to an end and the writer should give their reader the closure they deserve. There's no point in keeping the story going. It's been the same since the start. Not has changed. The initial story plot was, that Celeste and Trevor are getting devorce and still after 800 + chapter, they are still heading for a devorce....
Don’t Shaws and Lockets reflect ever on themselves? Every difficult situation, they look forward to Wynn to ask for Trevor to help. Initially the focus of the novel was on how Wynn is so accomplished blah blah and now - she is just a useless person, incapable of anything. Irritating storyline...
I'm starting to get bored and I can't predict exactly where the story is headed....
Beck being the only actual adult to ask a child what’s wrong...
Can we get to the point its stagnant and I am unimpressed,I don't care about the company being in trouble nor the inner thoughts of others. Come on now....
Its a good thing both jordan parents are loaded. They going to spend a lot for Jordan therapy. 😂...
Wynn has no shame. And keeping the staff well beyond their work hours is an a-hole move....
