Grace was the name of Nora's mother.

Mia still remembered the sinister look in her mother's eyes when she told her about it.

She had said, firmly and sharply, "We absolutely cannot let that mother and daughter back into our lives!"

"Don't be fooled by your father's silence. The truth is, he's proud to have such an outstanding daughter like Nora. We have to find a way to get rid of them!"

Mia had always kept her mother's words etched in her heart.

But as the days went by, she could never find an opportunity.

Just last night, Aaron had been turned away by Nora and came to her to vent.

Now today, he was chasing after Nora like a puppy, which infuriated Mia.

Standing behind Aaron, Mia gave Nora a triumphant smirk.

Just as the situation reached a stalemate, people in police uniforms suddenly appeared outside the hospital room.

"Who called the police?"

Amid everyone's shocked and astonished gazes, Nora raised her arm. "I did. I want to report this woman for attempted murder!"
