The Captain I Married by Chance novel Chapter 79

Aaron was thrilled. He took Leonard's words to mean that he had already decided to let him marry his daughter.

“Thank you, Mr. Hayes! I will definitely treat Mia well!”

After speaking, Aaron gave Mia a loving look, his affection practically overflowing.

Mia shyly lowered her head and playfully chided Leonard, “Dad, why are you bringing this up all of a sudden?”

Leonard smiled lovingly. “Mia knows how to be shy? I thought you couldn’t wait for the whole world to know you found yourself such a rising star for a boyfriend.”

“Dad!”

Mia buried her head in the seafood feast, ignoring Leonard.

Seeing this, Aaron dutifully stepped in. “Here, let me get that for you.”

Mia blinked at Aaron. “Well, thank you.”

Aaron smiled. “It’s nothing. You don’t have to be so formal with me.”

Mia smiled in satisfaction, resting her chin on her hand as she watched Aaron work for her.

Leonard watched them quietly. Then, as if remembering something, he said to Mia, “Tidy up two of the guest rooms at home.”

Then he added, “Actually, I’d better tell your mother.”

Mia asked curiously, “Dad, are we having guests?”

“Not guests. It’s your sis—”

Mia suddenly cut Leonard off.

“Dad, I’ll tell Mom.”

Leonard gave Mia a quizzical look. Though he didn’t understand her reaction, he still nodded.

“Alright.”

As long as his goal was achieved, he didn’t care if any drama erupted from having those four women living under the same roof.
