"What are you thinking about?" Arlan asked.

Drayce replied after a short silence as he looked at Evanthe, "Other than Solon, there is another deity that might help us."

Everyone looked at Drayce in surprise.

"Who are you talking about?" Evanthe asked.

"When Oriana was abducted to the Demon realm and we had no way to reach her, Mother had a way to help us," Drayce replied. "You went to someone to ask for help to set the star constellation, which could allow us to enter the Demon realm. The one who could have control over such a powerful phenomenon like the star constellation must be a deity—a deity who is in charge of setting the star constellation."

Evanthe and Xyron looked at each other as if they understood who Drayce was talking about.

"Mother, if possible, you can ask for that deity’s help. If they helped us back then, they might help us again—to enter the Heaven realm and even more," Drayce added.

Evanthe fell silent while the others looked at her.

"Evanthe, can that deity help us if you ask them?" Draven asked.

They couldn’t believe Evanthe had gone to him for help for the sake of Oriana.

There was a short, tense silence as she said it.

"Mother, that means you have a way to find him?" Drayce asked.

"I have a way to communicate with him when I am in need, that’s it," she replied.

"How?" Drayce asked, his tone serious.

Evanthe looked at him. Until now, he had never probed about his father, and today, he suddenly wanted to know everything. "Dray, if you think you can go to him and get him to help you against the gods, it will never happen. He is bound by the oaths he took when he turned into the Devil. So, you better drop the idea."

Drayce remained unaffected, though his mother had seen through him. Only he knew how desperate he was to protect his mate, and for that, he was willing to get help from anyone.

"Mother, I just want to know how you contacted him," Drayce said, his tone and gaze resolute, as if he would not let it go unless he got the answer.
