The Disguised Billionaire She Rejected novel Chapter 139

Chapter 139

Julia was very emotional as she stormed out of the family home, tears streaming down her face. Her chest heaved with frustration and heartbreak.

She made her way quickly to her hotel apartment, the one she had kept as a private escape. Once inside, needing support more than ever, she broke down and dialed Marcus.

Her voice trembled through the phone. He arrived within ten minutes, concern etched on his face as he rushed in and saw her crying on the edge of the bed.

“Hey, why are you crying? What’s wrong?” Marcus asked gently, pulling her into his arms.

Julia leaned into him, sobbing as she poured out everything-the betrayal at the family meeting, Victoria’s new boyfriend, the insults thrown at him, and how they strip her of the COO position. “I just want to live my life,” she whispered brokenly. “I can’t do this anymore.”

Marcus sighed, stroking her hair. “Everything will be okay.”

At that moment, Julia couldn’t hold her emotions any longer. She gazed up at Marcus, her eyes filled with longing. “I want to be with you. I loved you, and I want to marry you. But they just won’t agree.”

Hearing this made Marcus stiffen in surprise, his heart racing. Before he could respond, Julia softly kissed him. He was shocked at first, eyes widening as her lips pressed tenderly against his.

But the warmth of her touch melted his hesitation. The kiss deepened, building slowly with passion. Their breaths mingled as hands explored, fingers tracing backs and pulling closer.

Clothes slipped away in a haze of desire.

Marcus’s hands roamed her curves gently, caressing her breasts as she arched into him with soft moans. He kissed down her neck, savoring her taste while she ran her fingers through his hair, pulling him nearer.

Their bodies pressed together, heat rising as hips moved in rhythm. Julia gasped as his fingers teased her most sensitive spots. with that, He carried her up, as they made thier way to the bedroom.

Marcus and Julia both slept tightly in each other’s arms through the day, their bodies intertwined in peaceful exhaustion.

Later that evening, Marcus woke up first. He sighed softly as he looked at the beautiful Julia sleeping peacefully in front of him, her hair spread across the pillow like a halo.

At that very moment, Marcus vowed to himself to devote his life to her. No matter what obstacles stood in their way, he would protect and uplift her.

Julia was still sleeping soundly. He leaned down and kissed her gently on the cheek. “Don’t worry,” he whispered. “From today, I will take you right to the top, clear the way for you, and make sure anyone that dares look down on you will kneel in front of you and apologize.”

After that, he stood up quietly, freshened up in the bathroom, and dressed.

He left without waking Julia, not wanting to disturb her much-needed rest. With a determined expression, he made his way to home.

He was visibly happy that things had turned out with Julia exactly the way he wanted. When he entered, a genuine

smile lingered on his face.

Natalie frowned as she saw the happy expression. “Mmmm… something good happened today?”

Marcus waved his hand dismissively. “Nothing, nothing.”

Natalie whined playfully. “Something must have been good between you and Julia. She is the only one that can make you smile like that.”

Marcus scoffed but didn’t deny or approve it. Settling down on the couch, he then asked Natalie to make some findings about Eden, the CEO of OptimaCorp. He told her everything about Julia’s situation at the family meeting, the broken promises, and how Eden had suddenly appeared as Victoria’s boyfriend with grand offers.

Natalie listened carefully. “We can just reject whatever partnership they are planning and make it compulsory that we only want Ms. Julia.”

Marcus nodded. “I know. But I still want to know about this Eden.”

“Give me a moment.” Natalie brought out her laptop and made some findings. After about twenty minutes, she turned to him. “OptimaCorp is indeed number one in the construction industry right now. Eden is clean-no past crimes on record. He is an ambitious man; he started the company just four years ago and rose rapidly.”

Marcus whistled. “Wow.”

Natalie added as she recalled him, “I know him also. He had won many contracts from us. Yeah, it’s him. He is a good man and worthy to be trusted. we never have sby trouble with him”

Marcus, hearing that, sighed. “Victoria really struck gold.”

Just then Natalie paused. “Wait, but you said Victoria was his fiancée?”

Marcus confirmed, “Yes, she introduced him to her family today.”

Natalie thought deeply. “If I could remember… Eden usually come to me with his fiancée before. In fact, the fiancée was pregnant at that time”.

“Really?”

She thought deeply and said, “yes, I know what I am saying perfectly. Even though the media didn’t carry the news of his fiancée, I know because he sometimes sent her for document delivery.”

Marcus frowned. “Then why is he becoming Victoria’s fiancé?”

Natalie shrugged, she couldn’t understand, after some moments, she snapped her finger. “Maybe he is cheating. Maybe that’s his thing-hiding his fiancée so he could cheat?”

Marcus frowned deeper. “If that is so, Then, you should dig deeper tomorrow and make more findings.”

“Okay,” she said.

Marcus then excused himself, he was so tired and wanted to go sleep. Natalie nodded understandingly.

As he departed, Natalie remembered Jessica’s desperate outburst from that afternoon at the company. She thought briefly about telling Marcus, but she knew if she did, he would immediately of course help her. She didn’t want that, so she kept mute.
