Chapter 203.
Jace’s voice suddenly became sharp as he glared at Hades. “Hades! Don’t you hear me? Drop the gun right now!”
Hades didn’t move, and his eyes remained fixed on Marcus, who was still holding Jace at gunpoint. “Sir, if I drop my weapon, he’s going to kill you anyway. He wants revenge for his father, and the moment I lower my gun, your life will be over.”
Jace’s expression darkened. “What exactly are you trying to say? What will you do then?” He swallowed hard, realizing that Hades’s tone had changed. “Just drop the damn gun first!”
Hades suddenly smirked. Then he raised his weapon.
Bang!
The gunshot echoed through the room as the bullet struck Jace directly in the head.
Blood splattered across the floor and sprayed onto Marcus’s face, and Marcus’s eyes widened in genuine shock because he had never expected Hades to shoot his own boss.
Jace’s faces turned cold. and instantly, he dropped dead.
Hades merely smirked as he lowered his smoking gun.
“All I want is revenge for Six.”
The moment Jace’s men saw their leader get shot, they didn’t hesitate.
“Open fire!”
Tr-tr-tr-tr-tr!
Gunfire erupted throughout the room as bullets flew in every direction, forcing everyone to react instantly.
Marcus ducked as several bullets tore through the space where his head had been moments earlier, and he immediately kicked off the ground, using his cultivation power to propel himself away.
Hades moved at the same time, his body flashing across the room as he avoided the storm of bullets with astonishing speed. The two cultivators weaved through the gunfire and eventually disappeared into different sections of the building, leaving the ordinary men behind to continue the battle.
Natalie immediately turned toward the entrance.
“Come in! Now!”
The door burst open.
A group of armed men rushed into the building, and the moment they entered, they opened fire on Jace’s men.
They were Langstone’s men.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The room descended into chaos as both sides exchanged fire, though neither group was made up of ordinary soldiers. They moved strategically, using pillars, furniture, walls, and whatever cover they could find while firing in controlled bursts.
Meanwhile, far away from the main firefight, Marcus landed in another section of the building. Dust rose around

his feet as he slowly straightened himself.
Across from him, Hades emerged from the shadows.
The two men stared at each other. For several seconds, neither spoke.
Hades slowly raised his weapon, though his eyes remained locked on Marcus.
“I already made a promise to Six,” he said coldly. “I told him I would visit his grave with your head.
Marcus’s expression became colder.
Hades took another step forward.
“And that’s exactly what is going to happen today.”
Marcus clenched his fists as cultivation energy surged through his body, and the air around him seemed to grow
heavier.
“You killed my father,” Marcus said quietly. “And I am sure you would have already killed a lot of people, now you are being emotional your brother die?”
Hades jaw clenched, and with that, He rolled his fist, and the aura was all over it.
Hades’s jaw clenched, and with that, he rolled his fist as a powerful aura suddenly wrapped around his arm. The air around him trembled, and small cracks appeared beneath his feet as his cultivation energy continued to rise.
He suddenly thrust his palm forward.
A dense ball of energy exploded from his hand and shot toward Marcus like a cannonball.
Marcus immediately crossed both arms in front of his chest and released his own cultivation energy, forming a barrier between himself and the attack.
Boom!
The energy ball slammed into the barrier, forcing Marcus several steps backward as the floor beneath his feet cracked. His arms trembled from the impact, and even though he managed to stop the attack, he could still feel the enormous force that had passed through his body.
Hades didn’t give him time to recover.
He disappeared.
Marcus’s eyes widened.
Hades suddenly appeared beside him and swung his fist toward his face. Marcus quickly tilted his head, allowing the punch to pass by, before driving his elbow into Hades’s ribs.
Hades grunted but immediately countered with a knee to Marcus’s stomach.
Marcus was sent backward.
Hades raised both hands and began throwing energy attacks one after another, forcing Marcus to constantly dodge. Explosions erupted around the room as the attacks struck the walls and floor, sending pieces of concrete flying everywhere.
Marcus rushed forward through the dust, but Hades caught him with a powerful kick.
