Jessica arrived at the entrance, where only one security guard was on duty.

The guard shook his head firmly. “Before you entered, the young miss said she came here with her fiancé, who was her partner. But you entered with her instead, so you should not be here.”

Ms. Leah scoffed loudly. “You are a clown!” Then she looked around frantically, searching for Gerald.

“Where is your boss? The second one, he is the boss and he is the one who can deal with this properly!”

“Well, Gerald has been sacked,” Timothy replied calmly.

“What!” Ms. Leah was utterly shocked. “He was here right now. What do you mean sacked?!”

Timothy walked forward and explained, “He was sacked because of you. He made the wrong judgment and ignored the rules and ethics. The event manager heard about this and sacked him immediately. While I am being promoted. I let Mr. Marcus enter because he had the right to.”

Ms. Leah was shocked and turned to face Marcus with wide eyes. “So you went all the way to report him?”

Once the chaos died down, the event manager turned to Julia and Marcus with a respectful nod. “Sorry for the disturbance. For that, I will give you the finest wine and you shall dine in the VIP seats!”
