The Disguised Billionaire She Rejected novel Chapter 71

Chapter 71

Jessica stormed toward Marcus and stopped them again. “You always act like you’re something special just because you got lucky a few times, but you’re nothing but a gold digger. Have you left Ms. Natalie already?”

Marcus sighed and said, “Who I’m with is none of your business.”

Marcus angrily left with Julia, holding her hand. Jessica was furious. She believed that Marcus was cheating behind Ms. Natalie’s back.

“I’ll make sure you lose both ways. I will report this to Ms. Natalie,” she sneered as she pulled out her phone and took a picture of them.

She was so embarrassed and angry that she left the banquet without even doing what she had really come there for. She made her way straight to the Langston building.

She really wanted to mess Marcus up and was determined to tell Natalie everything. When she arrived there, the gate was locked.

She didn’t want to knock on the gate, so she stayed inside the car and waited there. Throughout the night, Jessica sat in the car, waiting for Natalie to come out.

She even ended up sleeping in the car and only woke up the next morning. “Shit, why isn’t she coming out?” she muttered to herself.

Jessica couldn’t take it anymore, so she angrily got out of the car, walked to the gate, and knocked on it loudly.

A few seconds later, the small gate beside the main entrance opened, and a security guard stepped out. He looked at her suspiciously before asking, “What are you here for?”

“I need to see Ms. Natalie,” Jessica replied quickly.

The security guard frowned. “Do you have an appointment?”

Jessica hesitated before shaking her head. “No, but it’s urgent. Very urgent. I have to tell her something important.”

The guard crossed his arms. “Without an appointment, you can’t enter or see Ms. Natalie.”

“But this is serious!” Jessica protested impatiently.

“Maybe you should call her then,” the guard replied calmly.

Jessica’s expression instantly stiffened. Of course, she didn’t have Natalie’s number.

The security guard shrugged. “Too bad. Then I can’t help you.”

He was about to close the gate when a female voice suddenly came from inside the compound.

“Who is there?”

Jessica immediately recognized Natalie’s voice.

The guard turned around respectfully. “A woman says she needs to see you, ma’am. She said it’s urgent.”

Without waiting for permission, Jessica quickly squeezed past the half-open gate and stepped inside.

“It’s me!” she blurted out.

Natalie walked closer, and the moment she recognized Jessica, her brows furrowed in annoyance. What are you doing here?”

Jessica swallowed before speaking hurriedly. “Uhm… this is urgent. You know Marcus, right?”

Natalie folded her arms. “Yes.”

“That man that pretended to be your boyfriend that day,” Jessica continued bitterly. “Look at this.”

She immediately brought out her phone and shoved the pictures toward Natalie.

“He’s cheating on you and he isn’t even hiding it,” Jessica added triumphantly.

Natalie glanced at the photos on the screen. The pictures clearly showed Marcus holding Julia’s hand at the banquet.

But instead of reacting angrily, Natalie suddenly scoffed.

The reaction instantly confused Jessica.

Natalie immediately understood what Jessica was trying to do. She wanted her to turn against Marcus.

Natalie gave a small laugh before saying, “So?”

Jessica blinked in shock. “What do you mean, so? He’s cheating on you with some woman that isn’t even prettier or wealthier than you!”

“Well,” Natalie replied indifferently, “I know that lady, and I know they’re together.”

Jessica stared at her in disbelief.

“I don’t care,” Natalie continued calmly. “As long as I can have him too.”

Jessica frowned deeply. “What?!”

“Yes,” Natalie said casually. “We can share him. I don’t care.”

Jessica was completely stunned.

“Are you bewitched?” she asked incredulously. “You’re beautiful, rich, and powerful, yet you’re willing to share a poor lowlife man with another woman?”

Natalie’s expression instantly turned cold.

“Are you here just to insult him?” she asked sharply. “Because if you are, then you came to the wrong place.”

Jessica’s confidence slowly crumbled.

Natalie stepped closer and pointed toward the gate. “If you don’t get out of my house right now, I’ll have you thrown out.”

Jessica gulped hard, feeling heat rise to her face in humiliation.

This was not what she expected at all.
